A great photo too. The elderly B727 trijet still looks fast, standing still. I love the modern winglets and the classic aft stairs. Just so practical! I have such great memories of travelling around Australia in them. :ok:

Spraying Beaver
 

The Beaver spraying looks like it was east of Balaclava, SA, so perhaps Kenny B, or Bob Beattie.

26th Apr 2014 09:09 Neville Nobody ozaggie I don't believe I actually met the pilot for this particular aircraft on this occasion. It was a while back (mid 60's perhaps??) but Ozaggie you are spot on with the location. 'Tis indeed Balaklava to the left of the Beaver. Well done! :D

The name of Bob Beattie rings a bell - he may well have been on AG work in this area - perhaps I heard his name mentioned by the local contractor who used to arrange for these ops. Unfortunately he is no longer with us so I can't ask him.

I've a few others of Ag operations in this area in that era - I'll look them up and post here when I get a bit of spare time.
