Esperance?

....albany?

compressor stall 22nd Apr 2007 13:44

It's not the main Esperance strip (in the loosest sense of the word as it's a fair drive away) but the one to the east on the corner of Fisheries Rd and the road to Cape Le Grande.

Never put the Kingair into there, but drove past it a few times on the way to the beach! I do miss that part of the world, it's a beautiful place and the further east you go from there the more spectacular the coastline gets. :ok:

Stally wins, Myrup in Esperance.

Here are a few taken by my back seat passenger on the weekend......

1. What is the aircraft. Hint - that's the rear panel
2. Why are we looking at the ground through the canopy roof?
3. What is the airfield / event

Yes indeed.
I love those barber poles!

OK -for the experts among you...take a look at the instruments. Why is the slip indicator out to the left?

Hempy 23rd Apr 2007 12:08

no expert, but torque or some such I'd imagine.

PilotHTR 23rd Apr 2007 20:43

Hey Comrade Chuck,
Never did get that Bo! But thanks for the advice.
You are almost right....

ASI (km/h) = 0
ALT(m)= 0
Oil and CHT = warming up
Trim set for T/O (green light)
RPM and MP (mmHg) = Idle.
Ball out to LEFT

The clue is the AH.......parked and warming up across a slight slope, left wing down!!

Cheers
