I think you will find the delays have more to do with the Sim moving to Brisbane in August/September more so than waiting for VARA applications to be included.

SHVC, how can someone at VARA with no seniority at all bid for something like an A330 FO Position while someone who is at VAA could then potentially miss out? Little bit unrealistic there??

SHVC said apply not bid. There is a significant difference. VARA have no bidding rights at all, they are treated as external applicants for any and all VA/VAI/VANZ positions.
One would assume that any such applications would only be considered if no 'internal' candidates can be found.

Skywest can apply, yes.
However, they cannot bid for a fleet transfer within the VA group as they are not part of the VA pilot group, yet. They declined the offer from VA to join their group pilot list earlier this year.

Internal bids would be assessed first then after all they have been awarded, the guys on the hold file for VAA/VAI/VANZ will be used then after all these guys have been awarded positions, they would look at interviewing Skywest/external guys again.

I have heard of a skywest ATR pilot wondering why he can not bid for a A330 FO positon...

What utter bollocks

OZW have never been given or at this stage asked for integration into the VAA list. Also your last sentence is not even worthy of comment.

Stop trolling.

Actually the last sentence is absolutely correct.

Go and have a read of your chatter feeds.

Didn't you know that flying a Virgin painted ATR means you're automatically entitled to mainline jobs?

Apologies I'm far to busy to be playing on here or chatter so on my once a quarter visit here and never on chatter I noticed it. In saying that though unfortunately both VARA and VAA have some "lesser desirable" people working for them who will always think they are better or deserve something that isn't theirs.

If I was going to come on Prune and post up everything a VAA guy has said on the bus or in the crew room to me or around me this would turn into a massive us and them thread. Perhaps being the better person and just shrugging off the occasional idiotic comment instead of posting it here is the better way forward for both parties
