Bingo! Well done. (I did say it was easy).
Eromanga is claimed by the locals to be the furtherest town and sealed runway from the sea!
I am sure there are some on here who would debate the validity of this claim.

Fred Gassit has it but Wanderin dave takes the cigar!
Correct linedriva. It was an interesting (and profitable) three months for me between PNG gigs from Dec 1990 to Feb 1991 in VH-AMT ( an Archer) up at Lindsay Point.
I have a photo somewhere of those ops where the altimeter actually reads around minus 50 feet!!

Lack of sportsmanship?
Really Forky,
Not that they may not be 'asking' for it ,but it's akin to cheating to jump on a D9 , carve out a strip on some murrie's land rights claim , then post it on here trying to make your many followers look like 'gooses' because they haven't been there!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And don't you blokes think he wouldn't do it....ask him about his get square with CIG and the home brewed liquid nitrogen sometime...
This is a seriously twisted, sneaky dude....

It's a great weekend to catch up with people you only see now and then from Innanmincka, Noccundra and further out.
As you know, Mrs Beach and the Beachlets are Ghymkhana and Campdraft tragics.. so its a must attend.
I did my bit by donating the $350 I won at the motorbike Ghymkhana back via the bar.

Quite Right Beachy..... if you see the old Google Earth image of the strip in question, it certainly looked a lot more primitive before that video was taken.
Me thinks the Dr has access to far too many machines! Anyone have problems with greenies and their airstrip, he might be the man to call!
I am surprised nobody knows it..... its pretty darn close to civilisation, well TL anyway!

I first landed on that strip at least 10 years ago! You can also see it on Google Earth, where I figure the pics are from 2007.

Why is this post not on the front page? It's where I expect it.
I check it out every day and almost couldn't find it.
I have put this pic up before but now I have a new real camera - might take some creative pics and confuse you.
This pic taken about 20 years ago. I cause a weight and balance issue nowadays.

FTDK
That R2160 was a nice aircraft - and very easy to fly. Not like the department V35 I flew a couple of times in 1990 - used to fish tail all of the time. Well at least I was taught by guys who knew how to use the rudder - footrest thingies.
I just knew you were out there FTDK.
Where's Jabba?
PS: Front page - just wait for my new pics - they will be art.
But I just realised how OLD I'm getting - well not in my head of course.
