J430, I'm guessing these latest shots were taken at Clifton (Bange field), and that is an Iskra. Dunno what the ultralight is, but the last one is a Fairchild 24W; this one lives at Gatton.

Pretty slick there.....so which plane were you in????

Not sure about the jet, it looks like a Panther scaled down a bit. What is an Iskra if I may ask?

J430, nah, wasn't there, but I have been in years past.

The Iskra is an eastern European design, but don't know much about it.

I googled and looked it up, dont think its a Iskra TS-11, its tail etc is quite different.

Still think its a Gruman Panther replica, scaled down maybe to a 75% or something. Think I have a mag article at home about it somewhere. Will check it out!.

It's supposedly the first home-built experimental Jet. Quite impressive. If I recall correctly it is a scaled Panther of sorts. A great achievement!

jbr76...yup I know everyone in that picture....that's me 4th from left.

Give Molly my best regards

Are you engaged to the younger or older daughter?

They were both babies when we were neighbours in Lae in the late 80s. If you're marrying the younger just make sure she's 'pool trained'...Molly will explain

Heya Chimbu Chuckles

Yeah I am getting married to the younger one ( and yes she remembers who you are :P .. she filled me in on the pool story lol )

Just out of curiosity, do you own that bonanza in the pic you posted a few pages back? (VH-EZU) ?

It just goes to show what a small world we actually live in
