Skippers' Braz at Newman?

I'd say 300nm off the Australian Coast

How's it going up there?

compressor stall Not too bad mate! So are you back from down south for a little while? Skippers and Braz is spot on but I'm pretty sure they don't go into Newman RPT. Hint:" I left on this a/c never to return.... "(too easy for you CS).

I'd say 300nm off the Australian Coast
In hindsight it was probaly closer to 500nm and the closest point of land was Harvey Bay (that was where we ultimately took on fuel).

cheers and beers

Couple of these ol'boys came through CS the other day. This pic was taken after he'd done a touch'n'go. Not quite as impressive as the F111s but not too dusty either!

cheers

Lebanon, Tennessee about 10 days ago.
It's the Yankee Lady, the one lucky to escape the fire in the Yankee museum a few years back.

Another one.

Wasn't there 10 days ago, more like 18 months ago now. Was there for two days (Mt. Juliet actually) and it seemed like every Herc the USAF had ever possessed was flying in, out and around Lebanon.
Not sure why they were there, but I've never seen so many C-130's gathered all in the one place all at the same time!

The C130's have a base at Nashville Intn'l (KBNA) and yes they do do a lot of flying locally. There's also a National Guard base at Smyrna (KMQY) about 20 miles south east of Nashville so we get a lot of Blackhawks buzzing around also.

Rolling a drum over to the aircraft looks easy compared with having to roll those two out of the way TO GET TO the drums!
