I wonder who pngair is?

Some good piccies there....even a couple of me and one of a Twotter at kamalai that I landed there then walked down the strip with another pilot so he could take that picture.

It all seems like a dream...and several life times ago

great wisdom

Here's the latest advice received for budding authors.
"Regards your literary project, send out cheap voice recorders and a bottle of rum to everyone and you'll have 100,000 words in a week."
Perhaps a case of many a true word said in jest.......or perhaps he wasn't joking.

Recipe for Tok Pisin

The recipe for the language is interesting: Take one sea full of British sailormen, hardy, daring, very British and profane, and leave it in a cool place for two days; extract their speech; then bring to boil and extract what speech remains. Add a coconut shell each of Chinese, Malay, German and Kanaka and bring to boil a hundred or so times, then season with a little war or two; add a few drops of Mission sauce and sprinkle with blackbirder pepper and recruiter salt. Strain through kanaka lips and serve with beer on boat days, or with undiluted Australian any other time. (Robertson 1971 : 13 -14)

Adding a message to PNGAir

Hi Taildragger,

To add a message to the forum, click on the Create Content\Forum Topic on the left hand side.

The write a title, select the forum that you want it to appear in and then click submit.

If you want to add an image do the same, but instead of selecting forum topic select image.

If you are viewing a picture, or forum topic, you can also add comments by clicking the add comments link, bottom right of the image.

I will also set it up, so that you can write your own blogs. Working on this at moment.

Thanks

PNGAir

Tinpis et al,

This was a very nice VH registered B55 up on one of Bob's tourist safaris. It seems the owner got a little out of his depth with some PNG navigation and weather, and forgot to put the wheels down on arrival at Hagen. As for the fireys, if they had been in attendance it might have been only an expensive embarrassment - the poor guy stood and watched for at least 15 minutes before the fire really took hold!
