How is it different from what they have been doing routinely for years?

I would also lay a pound to a pinch of the proverbial that it was fitted for Int, not bombing.

Are you sure that the pilots haven't signed up to the very successful chem-trail programme as a lucrative side-line ? After all, those pilots don't have any opportunities to liberate toilets and washing-machines .

I'll bet the crew aren't waving Coke bottles for the RAFarazzi...

Yes I know the theory but the fact remains that while these are areas of interest to NATO, they are also international airspace so all countries have the right to freedom of navigation in these areas, so there is no need for faux outrage or alarm. It is just routine, until they cross the imaginary line, then they may be invited to “follow me or else”.

There is no 'faux outrage', it happens and gets reported in the press, as it has been for decades. Since these are the same type of aircraft that are daily launching missiles at Ukraine, it is only natural that there is increased public interest when they come our way. Are you suggesting it should be covered up?

Waiting eagerly for the movie - combat should be pretty realistic….

In Mykhaylivka, in temporarily-occupied Zaporizhzhya region, a dispute broke out between Khadyrovites and Dagestanis during the filming of a Russian propaganda video. The fight escalated into a battle. More than 20 occupiers were killed and 40 wounded on both sides.

Putin started a new mercenary group:

According to investigative journalists at Dossier, 437.5 million rubles were spent on Convoy PMC in just 1.5 months in fall 2022. ($4.375m)

The terrorists are financed by Putin's mafioso Arkady Rotenberg and VTB Bank's "charity fund."

Their base is in Crimea and they are currently fighting in occupied Kherson region - about 400 mercenaries at this point.

Arkady Rotenberg is Putin's childhood friend from Leningrad (St. Petersburg).

Convoy PMC is commanded by a former Wagner PMC mercenary.

It happens, it gets reported in the press, as it often has been in the past on a fairly regular basis. It is one of the reasons we have a QRA and nothing has really changed. Both sides have been doing it almost since Pontius flew his first solo. Now people are commenting on it, whereas before they ignored exactly the same thing. That is faux outrage in IMO.

‘Little Miss Calculation’ Putin has bitten off more of Ukraine than he can chew.
His eyes were bigger than his stomach. And now he has abdominal pains.

All he has to do is say,”I’m done here. They’ve learned their lesson. Let’s go home guys!”

NutLoose 15th August 2023 11:57

I do hope he is wrong. He is the one propagandist I listen too as he has sounded logical in the past.

NutLoose 15th August 2023 11:59

Define full scale invasion as opposed to the current failing full scale invasion?

NutLoose 15th August 2023 12:02

And they are now talking about the possibilty of using the dried out lake bed as a crossing point.

Wrong on every count. Maintaining a QRA for precisely this purpose costs the public a great deal of money and it is right for the Government/RAF to be as open as possible about why it is necessary. It was never ignored and the public have rightly always been interested in it. How is it 'faux outrage' to discuss something that is common knowledge, and why are you trying to shut down the debate?

Didn't a full scale invasion happen in February of 2022?

Missiles, fighter bombers, helicopter gunships, airborne forces, tanks, troops, artillery. Sounds pretty full scale to me. Seems unlikely that they'd be able to deploy such a force today.

The Bears are just one reason why Q exists and, arguably, not the most important. If every sortie in response to Russian incursions was reported, the public would soon lose interest. It is not a question of covering it up, it is just business as usual and nothing to get excited about.

I disagree, but this is irrelevant to the thread. End.

Shoigu the unbelievable.

This will be an interesting conversation at St Peters gate...

More on the boarding of the Sukra-Okran freighter, it says it is not confirmed, but it looks like it and the damned great name in white on the bow might just be a little give away :p.
