If so, you may be suffering from the Russian plague of Cognitive Dissonance, "do you believe Putin or your lyin' eyes?"

The Russians I worked with were very happy to relocate their family and themselves to locations outside of Russia. One or two remained in Russia, and I hope their sons did not stay.

The propaganda war, aimed at russians.

The Russians I worked with were very happy to relocate their family and themselves to locations outside of Russia. One or two remained in Russia, and I hope their sons did not stay. One's daughter spoke 10 different languages, and was delightful. I hope she is in any other country that she could talk their language. She could go anywhere though, and speak like a native in a day or two. My Russian friends are very quiet now, and that is the way it has to be, they have a vindictive pathological government, and have had for centuries. They do have vodka though.

P.S.: While it is easy to demonise Russia, there are some true, visionary, patriots who understand the damage that the junta of Putin is imposing on Russia. The history of totalitarianism with the attendant violence towards it's own people have subjugated much of Russia and the client states to cattle, as the former Colonel in this video said to the police when they were picking up protesters against the incarceration of Alexi Navalny once again on 2nd February 2021. At least 100 Protesters were carted off for an intimate education of the benevolence of the Putin regime.

Navalny had more than 30% of the population in Moscow vote for him, in spite of Putin and his repugnant fascho-criminal regime. There are heroes within Russia, but they have to act in unison to bring down the man who has single handedly brought Russia to this time and place in their current condition.

Thanks for the response, It's amazing how quickly and (efficiently) Russia has distanced themselves from the rest of the world. As far as I can tell their only allies are North Korea and ????? Amazing. To so quickly destroy a national economy, show how powerless their military is, and how they violate basic human rights by targeting civilians and mass executing innocents. The barbarism shown is astounding. They will not be welcome in civilized society for .....

There aren't that many hyperboloid lattice towers in Moscow. Most were done by the same architect. They all need their fuses replaced I guess.

The Moscow Octod Tower got it's name from the octogon shape ring frames... count them on Vlads birthday candle, One for each of his IQ points, 1,2,3,.... N=8

if turns out to be sabotage against Danish power grid by the usual suspects, Stoltenberg has already announced NATOs stance towards attacks against critical infrastructure. This should be interesting.

Google translation:

There is a power outage on the whole of Bornholm this Monday morning, and department manager Ole Westh from Trefor El-net Øst states that there is a break in the submarine cable to Sweden.

Bornholm's Energi og Forsyning, BEOF, is about to start electricity production at the power plant at Rønne Havn.

The power outage occurred approximately ten minutes after eight, and the entire island is covered, says Trefor, which is responsible for distributing electricity on Bornholm. "We are currently waiting for BEOF to start up the plant so that we can start supplying the island with electricity", says Ole Westh to DR Nyheder. According to Ole Westh, it is not yet known whether the break in the submarine cable is on land or in the sea between Sweden and Bornholm.

The message at 8.35 CET is that Trefor expects to have the power back around 9.50. Parts of Rønne have received power again.

I would make it simple. Each such activity (if undoubtedly sabotage by Russia) = + 50 HIMARS/Lopard2/Abrams/... to Ukraine.
Next level: ATACMS.

Yesterday Lukashenko claimed Ukraine was going to attack Belarus, so we can expect another maskirovska event at the hands of the FSB and Putin. That should be interesting, the Belarus citizens are around 85% fed up with Russia and Lukashenko. When he orders his troops forward, what direction will the troops advance? I would not bet against them going into Minsk and removing Lukashenko. Belarussians are in the war already, on the Ukraine side. Perhaps Lukashenko didn't get that memo?

Timing is a bit suspicious of course but subsea cables, whether optical or HV or hybrids of
both do break on a regular basis around the world due to many causes
(subsea avalanches, ships dragging anchors etc..) so might be a bit premature
to jump to conclusions at this stage.

The problem I can see is if the gas pipelines were ruptured with explosive, they could easily have been on a timer or remotely detonated, then why would you simply stop there knowing that once detected the security would be tightened up, surely if you were going to plant charges undetected you would also plant they on other systems at the same time, i.e internet cables power supplies etc. indeed they could have been prepared pre war for all we know.

That's my take on it too, when the Belarusian military are presented with a bunch of conscripts a representation of what remains of the russian armies fighting force, that should give them the confidence to arrest lukashenko and end this madness, at least from the Belarus perspective. I suspect if any shots are fired from Belarus then that's all the excuse Poland will need.

If even slow Cruise Missiles are missing their target by the hundreds of Yards it is clear that the capability for any kind of precision strike is finally gone. One really does wonder: How is their idea to achieve any military success if you can't hit a power station the size of 20 Football fields?
One really wonders: GPS disturbed? GLONASS so bad? Run out of High- Tech components? Bad build quality? All of it?
It is just one video. Of just one event. And still it tells A LOT (besides targetting civillian/urban areas in general). When will they finally realise that they are destined up sh*t creek - without a paddle. What's the miracle they are waiting for?! The miracle for Ukraine is clear: More an better systems (IRIS-T) going to arrive (sadly not as quickly as one would love to).

When Kyiv is specifically requesting twitter users not to post images/videos which will identify precise time and place of missiles arriving , it is disappointing to see publicity eager posters doing exactly that. (Read history about how 3rd Reich were misled about V1 targeting).

Apparently miracles do happen. German media writes that Germany will speed up the IRIS-T deliveries, first one being in Ukraine in a few days. Announced by Christine Lambrecht.

However, this is just one system, more is urgently needed.

Some of the footage I've seen originates from CCTV and not phones.

Yes they need a lesson in Opsec and not unwittingly assisting their enemy. Recall the attack on the shopping mall in Kiev early on in the conflict after some dope Tweeted a pic with words to the effect of "Oo look at all those military vehicles parked in the basement". I suspect it may also have been the case in some of the early attacks on barracks housing elements of the international brigade.
