Ellwood demanded that the former CAS be hauled before the committee to explain his previous evidence. Grandstanding?

Nice But Tobias isn't interested unless it's got a turret on it. Or he can use the FE@R acronym while thinking he understands it.

Yes, but during my 30 years rarely encountered. Thinking back, I can only really identify 5/6 bosses who cared in the slightest about me as a human being. And one was RN, and another ex-FAA!

The best boss I ever had by a country mile was a woman. She always knew exactly what each of her subordinates were doing and if she gave you a job to do, she would tell you which current job to stop in order to do it. The sharpest mind in the RAF in my opinion, she could grasp an issue at a single pass. If you wrote something for her, she would understand it on the first reading and any amendment she suggested always made it better, I have seen her sit in a meeting, confronted by a budget spreadsheet and find the holes in it, doing the sums in her head, while the budgeteer was still talking, She was utterly fair and everyone I knew who worked for her was unswervingly loyal. She was also an FRAeS and CEng.

Interview with ACM Sir Michael Graydon - CAS 1992-1997 - on woke recruiting, defence spending and ties with the USA:

Sir Michael had a much better pedigree than the last CAS:

I have removed the digression regarding the western shores of the Atlantic Ocean, and the opinions of retired generals and admirals.
It's not on topic for this particular thread.
Carry on.

I would like to send the retired generals and admiral's submission to some friends Mr T28. Please PM it to me. I believe it is very relevant. Don't worry I have found it. It is very appropriate and what they speak about is absolutely applicable to the UK. Instead of eradicating all traces, it could have been moved to a new thread as you have often done.

I'll meet you halfway:
Here is a link to the .pdf for those interested,

FO4A-DEI-letter-May-16-final.pdf (starrs.us)
Please keep it out of this thread.
Thank you.
