Drone delivered Caltrops are the perfect weapon against an army with very poor tire logistics.
Use by Ukrainians of spikes dropped from drones to damage russian vehicles and hurt logistics. Judging by the commentary, this tactic is effective and easy to deploy.

What I would say to the 5000 is if you believe it would be better, go ask those who had the same ideals as you in Mariupol, Adviivka etc what they think now that they have lived under it and possibly been raped or killed as Russia does not appear to differentiate between either side, plus those in the Donetsk “military” are used as canon fodder to protect Russian lives.

Poland border woes.
On the border with Poland, all six directions are blocked, — said Andrii Demchenko, the spokesman of the State Border Service. The biggest queue on the border between Poland and Ukraine is observed in the direction of the checkpoints "Krakivets" and "Yahodyn". In total, there are 2,400 trucks in queues in all six directions.

The presumption is Italy will be offering the system to Ukraine, where it will be of use….
