So off topic......but all things considered I would suggest the Mods might consider opening a thread for a proper (now that sounds like a contradiction) discussion re the points raised in the post.
We would not want to see a brief and cursory consideration to them.....would we?

Yes, outstanding good idea.
Just thought that with all the bad news in the world a little uplifting humour was needed.
Now ”Back to the half filled stadium of reality.”
I always remember a comedic news report:
“There was peace in the world for 5 minutes today! Unfortunately it turned out everyone was just pausing to reload.”

Re the jammers, I have seen this image posted of a van set up during testing, it makes you think they may have a very narrow effective field of cover.

Thoughts on the reason for the air movements in and out of Kaliningrad..
A few thoughts about unusually heavy air traffic to and out of the Kaliningrad Oblast. A 🧵

“The war is now moving to a new stage: what we in the military call “positional” warfare of static and attritional fighting, as in the first world war, in contrast to the “manoeuvre” warfare of movement and speed.” An interview with @CinC_AFU….

Shoigu reported that Russian air defense units shot down 37 Ukrainian planes - just a week after shooting the previous 24.
He has already made calculations for destroying F-16s that aren't in Ukraine yet.….

For the GPS frequencies from 1175 to 1575MHz those single cones do not yield much directivity. Because they are not much larger than the wavelength. I would guess that directivity/gain is less than 10dB for a single cone, so given the necessary power of a jammer you an neglect the directivity.

Don’t think tanks are jamming GPS as they are moving targets. - these are C-UAS jammers in the frequency range from 900-2,000MHz

Re Kalingrad, those watching the region believe it could be troop or equipment rotation being carried out to bolster the front. Sorry for so many links, but it is impossible for me to know how far down a thread link those that do not have Twitter can see.

For those that are signed up for twitter X etc you will find this link very good for monitoring NATO monitoring the region, and any unusual aircraft movements.
