Reference my earlier post on Russian electric trains and targeting their power substations….

Russian sources report that a total of 5 UAVs hit an electrical substation in Belgorod.

Of course, if they really are stupid enough to use a nuclear weapon (and my uneducated impression is that they're not) they only need one that works...
Yes, but the corollary is, unless they are willing to launch all their missiles in one Armageddon attack, they have to be absolutely certain that the one they do use does work.

More corrupt thieving officers of Russian armed forces.

One of the most interesting stories is the one fueling 41000kg less to an IL-78 tanker than was supposed to and sold it. Was the IL crew part of the scheme or did they just think "sh@t happens" and take off anyway. What did they provide to those poor sods waiting for a refuel, wave pile of rubles on the window?

Talk about a hostile takeover. Russian troops take over Finland’s largest energy company’s operations in Russia.

And yet when Estonians said it was a gangster state we were told we were psychologically damaged.

Russia seizes subsidiaries of Finland’s Fortum and Germany’s Uniper

The Kremlin has taken control of the Russian subsidiaries of Finland’s Fortum and Germany’s Uniper, moves it said were a response to western confiscations of Russian assets.

Dmitry Peskov, President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, told reporters on Wednesday that the Kremlin wanted to establish a “compensation fund” to hit back against what he called “the illegal expropriation of Russian assets abroad”.

Putin signed a decree late on Tuesday to “protect Russian property and national interests” by allowing the state to impose “temporary control” over the assets of companies from countries deemed unfriendly by the Kremlin.…

Good!
This will hopefully make sure that the (not so few) Western companies still being active in Russia understand that this is a bad idea. And it will quite surely make Russia toxic for foreign investments for the next decades.

It will be a brave VP who suggests to the CEO to "trust Russia", they are worth the risk. They will be a pariah state until they get around to actually electing a Navalny or other opposition to the corruption that characterises Russia for the last 20, 100, 200, 1,050 years.

Practice makes perfect.

On Nukes, there is vanishingly small likelihood that the strategic rocket forces escaped the corruption of the rest of the putrifying mess that is Russia under the tutelage of Voldemort. Their latest rockets when test fired from the barely floating Typhoon to qualify for the latest boomer, the Borei, 7 of 8 failed, one blew up immediately out of the tube damaging the sub resulting in her limping home. The one that flew didn't fly where targeted. So at least that was their best systems, and nothing bad ever happened from neglecting to maintain the sunshine, bucket, one of. The argument against a demonstration in 45 was the backwash of making a fuss and having a fizzle.

Fastest way for Russia to be completely isolated for a rather long time is to smoke their mates.

So Russia will not object to Ukraine taking over the Zaporizhzhia NPP then. Perhaps the troops camped out on the roofs of the reactor buildings will suddenly decide when they come under attack that it's not actually such a good place to be.

When was this ? My quick check gave the following 2018 report which was a salvo of four missiles within 20 seconds with four hits and a single successful test from 2022.

I am entirely unsure what difference - if any - that will make where parades are held. I have no idea if the general Russian population knows the difference between a T-62 and a T-90

Can we send Putin an email that we intend to take possession of the Kremlin to pay off Russian debts / seizures and ask them to vacate?

the average Ivan probably wouldn't notice the difference. But he for sure will notice the total abscense of MBT's whatsoever. Tanks are what is considered the pride and strength of the armed forces of Russia since WW2. So to the extent that there were two statues in every soviet village, Lenin and a T34.. The ground forces are what the Russian military doctrine has been leaning on, in propaganda as well as in strategies.
No MBT in a parade is no parade at all.
