Another very sad day with a loss of brave people. They died in the service of their country miles from home, gone but never forgotten. They and all the families will be in my prayers.

Words cannot describe how I felt when I heard the news this evening...needless to say the first words out of my mouth were "Oh F*ck".
My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those involved, and with all those at and formerly of the Kipper Fleet who are all bracing themselves for the next release of news.
Kinloss will be such a different place when I return next week......
Very sad day.
Mrs Cruces and I send our sincere condolences to all the families and friends of those lost today.
We are both extremely proud of what you folks are doing all over the world.

As an ex 42 dry man words cannot express my feelings at this time. Gutted doesnt even come close. I have been out of the kipper fleet 19 years but have many happy memories of my time on the "brown bomber".
Sincerest sympathies to all at Kinloss, especially the families of those lost this terrible day.
May they rest in peace.

I have had the greatest of pleasure to fly with at least 4 of the crew, you will be sadly missed.
My thoughts now are with all of the families they leave behind. It is a very sad loss for the Kinloss community as a whole.

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England.
I've never used this image before, today it seems appropriate.
RIP
