Please don't speculate here on this forum on names, type aircraft or unit. let the MoD / Unit / JCCC do their work and inform families direct. We will learn all in good time.

Another sad day for the RAF and the British Military as a whole.

The MoD's press spokesperson has ruled out enemy action apparently.

Dreadful, dreadful news. RIP guys/gals.

:mad: All the armchair generals on the news speculating on what it was.

They don't seem to think or care about the loved ones who are sat in the various MQ patches at the mo in pieces.

It seems that upsetting news comes out of Afghanistan every day. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who've lost their lives. Words cannot express the impact this has had on my colleagues here and around the Service.

Dreadful sad news. I cannot put into words what I want to pass onto the families affected.
My thoughts together with my daughters are with everyone, we know what you are going through

It seems all so common today, my sincerest condolences to all those affected both family and friends.
