An appeal to friends

Please don't speculate here on this forum on names, type aircraft or unit. let the MoD / Unit / JCCC do their work and inform families direct. We will learn all in good time.

A time to pray and hope I think

The Helpful Stacker 2nd Sep 2006 15:32

Another sad day for the RAF and the British Military as a whole.

The MoD's press spokesperson has ruled out enemy action apparently.

vecvechookattack 2nd Sep 2006 15:38

Dreadful, dreadful news. RIP guys/gals.

My thoughts are with the families and friends

WE Branch Fanatic 2nd Sep 2006 15:39

Not again. RIP folks. Thinking of those left behind.

The Helpful Stacker 2nd Sep 2006 15:39

 All the armchair generals on the news speculating on what it was.

They don't seem to think or care about the loved ones who are sat in the various MQ patches at the mo in pieces.

tablet_eraser 2nd Sep 2006 15:43

It seems that upsetting news comes out of Afghanistan every day. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of those who've lost their lives. Words cannot express the impact this has had on my colleagues here and around the Service.
