Condolences to all
It is with sadness that I heard the news. Knowing how close the community is at Kinloss I offer my thoughts and prayers to all the family and friends of the crew in Afghanistan, and the marine and soldier flying with them.
God bless them all.

I am a non-Military man with military friends....I feel for the loved ones left behind to mourn those who are brave enough to do the things that I wouldn't.

Terrible, terrible news of such a huge loss of personnel.
My prayers are with all those souls lost today, and all those professionals left behind trying to continue with their task in the midst of grief.
Prayers for all loved ones waiting to hear any news.
God's Speed x

As a civvi I would just like to say that in our family we are so proud of what you guys are doing out there and feel every fatality personally
Our son was training in the Royal Corp of Signals until he was injured in a fall and had to leave. He had already been warned that he would have been going to Afghanistan on completeion of his training

My thoughts are with the families left behind by this tragic event.
Please, no speculation - wait for further official statements as to the probable cause.
A sad day at RAF Kinloss, where I know so many Maritime guys.
RiP..
