Well Minister, I am sure that you have read the novel 'Papillon' and how the Devil's Island inmates secreted personal items within their body. This is an extension: our agents in a hostile environment now have the technology for a quick getaway. You'll also notice that the colour scheme covers all possible 'internal complications' that may be the result of local cuisine.

we have a winner

Thanks for all the replies, I had a lot of fun.

Honorable mentions to:

SASless, with
"I say Bloggs....where is the other car painted in the Urban Camo pattern...did you not park it here somewhere?"
for a funny twist on the colour scheme,

Buster Hyman with
Britains response to Obama's call for a surge in Afghanistan was somewhat underwhelming.
for demonstrating that sometimes, size does matter,

IX Touring with
After 4 weeks in the paint shop, the camo designers had managed to make the smart plane look like a smart car!
for giving it an aviation connection (barely) and providing an extra picture,

the runner-up is:
Main Gear Touchdown with
When I said "our new APCs have to be air-transportable" I didn't mean "by a Cessna"...
which would have won for connecting military, aviation, budget constraints and humour until

Runaway Gun did all the above AND gave it a twist of actuality with
Airbus suddenly realised they could market the A400M as being able to airlift 50+ assault vehicles per flight....

So the floor is yours, RG. Well done.
