Dave had dropped a turd on the deck, but hoped his distraction routine would lay the blame on the ship's cat.
The new blind take off and landing research project had unexpected delays due to the Pilots being unable to find the aircraft.
I think the cooks put the wrong kind of mushrooms in the breakfast omelettes......
Royal New Zealand Navy have it pointed out to them that they don't have one of these (a carrier), so have wasted their money buying some Skyhawks. In a fit of pique, they give them to the Airforce, and continue to make whooshing noises while flying their helicopters.

After missing the green-green grass of home for so long, madness had long taken over Lt Jones, so he pull-started his imaginary lawn mower and proceeded to mow the ship's deck....
The first day at sea after a REALLY GOOD port visit may require a bit of a bit of time to get use to the sea routine again......
