The Met Men much preferred the new design of weather vanes, although it didn't help their forecasting much. Talk of changing the requirement document to read weather cock was quickly dismissed by SMETO.

May I humbly suggest that the CapComp is in future conducted using two new guidelines: 
Firstly, any competition winner posting a new picture for everybody's amusement is required to enter judgement on caption entries within 72 hours of the picture being uploaded.
Since approximately 20.00 hours GMT on 28/10/2015 (that's almost 15 days, over a fortnight) we have had three pictures presented, only two of which have been judged so far.
This is way too s l o w.
Secondly, failure to judge within the required timeframe should result in an immediate ban from the forum, or such other punishment as deemed appropriate by the Senior CapComp Committee comprising Nutty, Buster, Coff, Danny and Wensleydale.
