RatPoison, the guy is asking for info about the interview not for personal feelings about the company. There are plenty of open threads about that subject on the go.
The thing you should be asking yourself is that if you feel this way, why the f*** are you still here?:=

Let the man make up his own mind
TOOOO many people trying to make their mistakes reflect on others. EK and Dubai are what u make it, if it does not fit some, then move on.
It is not perfect, but it is not hell on earth.
5 yrs and having a good time. wife and kids happy, travelling and making lots of friends. Just been to pub, almost like home but can't sit outside.
As to the interview, just b your'e self, if not then u will b found out during training or out on line. Bring the other half if u have one.
PM if u want, very happy to give u the real oil. 3 rd world country, 1st world vaneer, but still not so bad, depending on where u r coming from.

Perhaps the spelling, grammar, construction and sentiments found in the second sentence are explained by the first sentence.

Re Apply for EK interview

Hi all. Can some one share some info, if one has been unsuccessfull in EK pilots interview, Could he/she reapply and if yes after how long (cooling period) ....,,, Thanks for all the info.

expatcdn 24th Aug 2006 02:30

Nope. :ugh: Kind of silly I think when they are desperate for guys. It all depends on why they did not hire you. But that info is confidential and it all depends if they said to you if you can re-apply again. And "she"...there is no "she"...maybe one.

Times are changing, there are now at least 3 pilots of the fairer sex coming through training.:D

Maybe its your skin colour, they only prefer certain types. Judging from your name(Sayed) you could be Indian or Pakistani, trust me they dont really like asian, they prefer european, americans or australians. There are no real code of ethics at these airlines.

The kid from the pilot shops' back.

You are a complete idiot. THERE IS NO RACISM AT EMIRATES when it comes to hiring. We have Korean pilots, Indian pilots, Malaysian pilots, Middle Eastern pilots, African pilots (Black and White)....and the list goes on.....if you make the grade, you are in....so shut the f**k up.

Do a search here, there is a lot of info that is not old. Also check out www.airlinepilotforum.com and do a search there. All the information you could want or need is contained in both sites, with a little digging.
