We have enough upgrade eligibles to cover until at least Sept 2019. Last recruitment campaign trawled enough experienced Captains, no plans to interview more until after Sept earliest.

Mine too about a week. I’ve heard it takes up to 2 weeks.

I happen to know they are currently interviewing DECs today......so that may not be set in stone!

There does seem to be a concerted effort to upgrade from within, but seem to be interested in keeping a few DECs in the pool to fill in the gaps. I don’t think anyone really knows as there are quite a few factors that could influence the numbers. But am pretty sure only interested in TR candidates

talent pool is too crowded and there is almost water. I think QR has to inform candidates at least. Many guys (DEC, FO) are waiting in the pool for year or more but they dont answer any question about the process or planning. I am done, I decided to go to other side of the gulf and my friends too. One year is quite enough to wait and I won't waste anymore.
