If you are talking about Airbus TR candidates, then there is no demand for them at the moment, though they say it’s a training capacity or whatever. Next deliveries are expected as early as 2026. I am personally in the pool since April 2023 and I don’t expect any offer any time soon. As for Boeing, it’s most likely the training capacity as they say, so you have to wait it out.

It depends on their operational needs and how lucky you are. I heard that they call Boeing TR mostly straight after the assessment. As for Airbus TR, they are not interviewing people at the moment, as there is no demand. You can still apply online however. But they won’t process your application.

Airbus 320 talent pool
I’m type rated A320, my partner who I did the assessment, he got a offer letter for A350 soon, so, I think so, they are only joining date to wide-body type rated… I had hopes to get the same offer, however, I see that there are a tons of people in talent pool. Thanks guys !

we’ll figure it out. Most likely it will be necessary to undergo assessment again whenever they have a demand. HRs will get in touch. The same thing happened to a friend of mine who was assessed before COVID. After covid, they asked him to repeat it.
To be fair, if this situation in the Middle east escalates, perhaps many who are in the pool and recently went into recruitment will have to repeat at some point. There is a tremendous potential to a wide open war that can last a very long time. I suppose the big three will hold their horses when it comes to any expansion thus recruitment. I hope I am wrong.

But after a year how do you know if you’re still eligible to be called. Does QR notify you that you’re still in the pool, or do you assume you still are. Or do you assume that you’re not?

Does anyone know how does DEC recruitment look like? I mean captains from narrow body 737. How often do they give opportunity fof straight into 787 or 787? Does is still happen nowadays with Max in the fleet?

I got invited for a PSA, completed it on the 10th of April and my status says "invited for PSA" and then underneath says "You've been invited for an interview please check your inbox"
No emails
