Did anyone have a problem to re-apply for the same position on Qatar airways portal? I applied 4-5 months ago but I selected the wrong answer for my medical license ( I do have it from the same authority). I tried to edit my application but the system did not allow me to change it so I thought I can withdraw and re-apply. After withdrawal whenever I try to apply system return an error stating that I've already applied for the selected position?! Does anyone have the same experience? I could not find any contact from HR and the status of my application is still just withdrawn.

I did the online (Propel) evaluation like a week ago and got invited for selection in Doha (DEC 777). Screening is early February and unfortunately ill be working those days for my current employer (looking to join after my retirement in the end of the year). I would need to put an off request at my present employer to guarantee I am free for selection but that needs to happen with a little more advance planning. Did reply to their email where they asked for passport copy etc. with this issue but no reply. Also the telephone number given remains unanswered when trying to contact them. Any idea or experiences on how to proceed?

Putting it off until the end of the year will not work. You may be able to postpone it a month or so, but wait until the end of the year, you will forfeit.

I turned down 3 different assessment dates in a row as they kept giving me them on 3 weeks notice which I couldn't do so I just emailed and said if you have anything next year let me know, eventually they send me Jan dates and I'm booked in. So my advice would be just email them but yes waiting over a year might need a new application. Any idea how long before the flights they will send me the details for the Doha trip (last week of Jan)?

Hello, did my PSA 1 month ago ( december 8th) and until now I have no news from QR and my status is still « invited for PSA » is it normal ?

Guys sharing my experience from the Assessment process in November 22.
1. Tickets and Visa was received 4-5 days before travel dates. Though list of documents required during assessment was shared 10 days before travel. Pretty straight forward.
2. Arrival into Doha, no surprises. Transport and hotel was all in place.
3. Day 1 of assessment, again no surprises. Interview process was straight forward. Started with HR brief, technical exam (50 questions) 30 straight forward from LPJ, 10 common aviation stuff, 10 would need a bit of commercial aviation knowledge. Followed by scenario based, again not a rocket science. Interview with psychologist, they will be assessing u on the 9 NTC during interview. Tip : keep it genuine and simple.
Before end of the day, result out and move to day 2 simulator. Day 2 : again simple circuit. 2nd T/O : V1 cut. Straight forward.
My opinion: alot of not negative information, at no point we felt ne negativity during our time in office or during the process.

Is it necessary to have an ICAO English proficiency assessment Certificate or does it suffice with just the FAA license where it says English proficient.

During the interview we had to fill out a form and one of the question that surprised me was "do you currently have a Bond with your current airline", could someone have any ideas on that point? Is this likely to complicate recruitment or would Qatar intend to refund if successful?
