Great Idea

Great idea, pinkus, but I do not think that appealing to the idealism of Ramadan has much chance of success with these hypocrites who behave in most un-holy ways and then put on a big show of their Islamic faith when desirable.

Prestige Jet is like Fidel Castro. We've all thought it would be done so many times in the past.

Agree..but

Prestige Jet is like Fidel Castro. We've all thought it would be done so many times in the past.
Pinkus,
I like your analogy, and would add the fact that although Fidel Castro (and PJ) are still there, it is evident that they are experiencing a downfall, A COMPLETE SYSTEM FAILURE that is not recoverable.

Khalas

Khalas, you stupid expats is always complain about Prestige Jet. You must have to stop and not say anything about Prestige Jet. Prestige Jet is no bankrup. They still have many millions in the bank and can hold for more years.

We are only going thru phase of economy and will go out triumphans insha'allah. So you americans stop complining and stop talking rubbish about Prestige Jet who is the #1 operator in Middle East. If you dont like this fact, go back to America and cry all you want to Bush and Obama.

You Could Prove It

You could prove that you have so much money by actually paying your employees, many of whom are still owed pay from April. Only the pilots who threatened to block a flight are current; everybody else is anywhere from one to four months behind on pay.

Then there are the ones who are over a year behind, have valid court orders and you still don't pay. That would be the best way to quiet the criticism.

And most of us are not American, if you have any idea who is on your own payroll. Obviously, you do not, since you don't consider payroll to be a business, legal or moral necessity...

Congratulations, Ex Terminator

According to the main listing, you are the 400th respondent to this thread.

(Note that the comment numbers within the thread read slightly less, due to several comments which the moderator was obliged to remove.)

To put it in perspective, can you name any company which has a live thread going with responses numbering more than 10 times the number of active employees - or anywhere near such a ratio? This, along with the over 50,000 readers of the thread as compared to size of company, far outpaces any company on PPRuNe - yet another measure of the unparalleled futility and that is Prestige Jet.

Keep up the good work, mates - let's get to 500 with regular updates and discussions about Prestige Jet.

All is needed is justice

WM, I thank you and the rest of professionals who have been active in this thread for the sake of making the truth known not only to those in the aviation industry, but to the whole world. PJ management corruption does not recognize any borders or limits. Therefore, our efforts and endeavors should be sustainable until justice is done.

The Actual Metrics

Further to my previous posting, two boxes above, the actual metrics would be:

In order for Emirates Airline to match the Prestige Jet metric of 400 responses and 50,000 views of a PPRuNe thread, as a ratio to total employees, EK would require a thread with a million (1,000,000) responses and one hundred twenty-five million (125,000,000) views of that thread. Can you imagine such a thing?

Prestige Jet is truly in a class of its own.

Still not paying the pilots and yet one just returned with more promises to be paid while the illegal charters continue. Some never learn, Aviation Whores.

People still keep showing up to work despite not getting paid.....

Why pay them if they're willingly working for free?

Well, to me, that means one has no personal pride. If you are willing to go to work for a con artist who doesn't pay his people, or you are continuing to work for such a person while not getting paid, well... only have yourself to blame there.

See, you can't apply morals, ethics, logic or any common sense when dealing with a morally bankrupt group of people such as the Deebs and Hamed. You have to either get down to the very basic animalistic way of dealing with people like that simply because they're treating you that way, or you accept being treated like that and continue providing services to company like PJ thereby becoming a problem yourself.

Telling you, if everything came to a screeching halt on the 1st of each month when you haven't been paid for the previous month, and everyone followed thru with it, you'd see how fast this crap would stop. Again, that's the only way they understand - you hurt their pockets and do not waiver. Imagine if you operated an aircraft in the same fashion these crooks operate this company...

Here's something else... by continuing to accept being treated like this and still producing revenue for these crooks, you are also undermining other companies who have to compete with these crooks. Those dirtbags affect other operators as well because they can significantly undercut everybody else and drag others through their mud thereby also diminishing your employability with a respectable operation as well...

More to it than just hoping they'd straighten up...

This is very true. We were considering entering the charter market in the UAE but our people were smart enough to realize there is no money to be made the way things are at the moment. I feel for those affected by PJ's BS, but the sooner companies like PJ go under the better it is for many others.

Oh, I Get It

This is the ALPA mentality: the pilots at this company should fall on their swords and throw away their hopes and careers so the pilots at your company can have an easier negotiation. Thanks for the advice.
