Can anyone shed some light on what a pre selection day consists of, and what the requirements are? As in do you need an ATPL and be 500 hours short of min requirements?

Thanks.

Seriously..........Have you made any effort to find the answer yourself!!!! I know there are a lot of pages here, but just the last 5 to 10 will give you an answer................ as your question is repeated, again & again & again.......

Hello all,
Quick question:
At present, is EK giving any credit for military hours? I have just over 1800TT, majority on single seat jets, which obviously does not satisfy the FO min reqs stated on the website, but I have heard rumours/opinion that this may be factored in some way.
Thanks in advance.

No....

You'll need some real time - forget single-seat jets

Regarding flying hours.

Hello everyone,

Does EK accept a signed declaration from your airline regarding flying hours. My present airline won't stamp my logbook since it is not an official procedure here, but instead it does provide me with a stamped and signed declaration stating the number of hours I have flown.

Thank you very much.

My application went from "not shortlisted" to "under review" after I submitted my updates which include a B777 type rating with time on type. Should I expect to hear something soon? I am still less than 500 hours short of mins.

Does anyone have any experience with the interview prep by Elite Assessment?
I have seen something offered at Latestpilotjobs.com. Any recommendations?

Hi there, I think I have read it somewhere here, but I ask it anyhow. Does Emirates accepts the P2X rating?

If that is the case, they have opened the eyes of the Cathay cadets I think.. not?

Selection Help

Heard really good things about elite. Suposed to help nail compas test and also interview prep. Not heard about the other one but the more stuff you have the better I guess.

First post here. Go easy on me.

Apparently all the Miami simulator slots for interviews in January have been assigned. With the need for 500 pilots next year, does anyone know if they are planning any other dates in the US or would they fly US applicants over to DXB for the full 4 day interview?

What kind of capacity does the EK training college have to run new hire classes? How many at a time? Do they generally run big classes every few months, or small classes every few weeks?

Thanks.

Goldthrop,

New classes every week, normally 8-12 at a time.

Good luck.
