Just had an email from TUI to everyone going to the East Midlands in regards to clearing up what counts as proof of NI number and they acknowledged the link doesn't work so attached a document about getting there instead.

If you have a Government Gateway account you cam get a letter in pdf format that has your NI number on

Just out of curiosity anyone know how many people have been invited to the assessment days? I believe it has been 140 across all days for the last 2 years.

Yes I believe 140 in total last year, on TUIs instagram they posted last April about the MPL assessment centres and stated the 140 number in the caption. People have also mentioned numbers between 140-160 on here in different threads for previous years. From other threads it sounds like somewhere between 45-60 people then got invited to the final simulator assessment at Gatwick for 30 spaces.

People that are through to the assessment centres, what do you think the case study will involve? Do you think it's an individual exercise or done in a group? Perhaps based around an aviation scenario?

HI! Does anyone know what I need to do with the NI Number as an Italian citizen? I've read that the Italian equivalent of the NI Number would be the Health Card with the Codice Fiscale (Italian tax identification number), but I'm not sure. Can anyone clarify?

Just a quick question, is the maths test at the assessment centre likely to be similar to the initial numerical reasoning test, or will it be different subjects/difficulty?

Valid Medical Certificate

Does anyone know what it means by valid medical certificate. As if this means the Class 1, I have not got one?

They confirmed in a recent email that you only need to bring one if you already have it. See below:
Valid Medical Certificate (photocopy - if applicable) – this refers to a CAA Class 1 medical which professional pilots are required to hold. You do not need to obtain one prior to assessment centre – if successful, you will be required to get one then and we will provide further guidance at the time.

See you there Cooper! As for the maths test just practicing as much as I can 😂

coopercarriers 3rd April 2025 18:58

I'm mainly just studying GCSE fundamentals - trigonometry, algebra, quick mental maths. Then studying speed distance time type questions.

Sorry if this sends more than once, I've written it 3 times now 😂 I'm new to this site and it's pretty archaic
