For me that one was too basic, did the assessment for TUI myself last year and the online assessment was very tough. Most likely to filter the large amount of candidates that apply.

Pilotassessments.com was very helpful, also their forum.

Were there only numerical, verbal, and logical reasoning assessments, or did you have a CUT-E aptitude test as well? I have heard mixed things..

Those stats are incredible!
Less than 30% of applicants were interviewed and less than 2% of those interviewed (or less than 0.5% of all applicants) were offered the training course!

Errrr, best of luck chaps!

Permanent Standby 23rd December 2024 19:15

Lasy year there were around 13000 applicants, not sure how many online interviews, 150 went to the assessment centre for 30 positions. Good Luck!

Yep had the exact same, it did say we should receive results straight away but it’s been several hours now.

marybethbethbeth 6th January 2025 16:47

yep same with me

YousefThePilot 6th January 2025 18:03

Hi First time posting on Pprune I haven't completed the application yet but I was curious what does initial application contain egg: is it a maths tests, do I need to have my gcse certificates ready etc.
Thanks for the help guys and best of luck with your applications.

FlyWithDan 6th January 2025 19:24

I have completed both the Intro/About me (inc. CV), the online assessments, and was able to progress straight to the digital interview. Now I believe it's a wait until March! :)

how long after completing the assessments did you get the digital interview email?

Mine seemed to be almost immediate - on the same portal, it then showed me a Digital Interview for completion. Presumably there is some automatic pass rate? I have seen last year that some people got erroneously invited to the Digital Interview, I did get a Congratulations email so hoping that's not the case for myself!

skyfly25 7th January 2025 09:55

Does anyone remember what the Maths requirements were last year? I see they are asking for a B or 6 in Maths and C/4 in 4 other subjects including Science and English - I thought last year it was C/4 also in Maths not the higher grade requested this year, does anyone know?

Anyway regardless, that's me out now as I only got a 5 in my Maths so good luck all :)

will07jet 7th January 2025 10:45

what were your results?

Mine didn't tell me, I just got a Congratulations email stating I could now proceed to the Digital Interview.

bigman668 7th January 2025 11:31

I got average on all three tests but did not seem to get through.

Hi Dan, congrats for your progression to the DI. How long did they give you to complete this stage of the assessment? Was it 48 hours like last year?

It is five days from receiving the email :)

Foxy1715 7th January 2025 14:00

I have just completed my assessments too and got an invite to the DI almost immediately after pressing save and close. I know last year it took me some time to receive it though. Also I do not have any results from my assessments yet either.

Yeah, I got mine instantly too but I see many people talkikg about the “above average”, “average” scores yet no idea where I can find this information.

FlyWithDan 7th January 2025 15:02

I have just received my results, above average for all 3 tests. So perhaps that automatically puts you through to the next stage of the process (i.e. DI).

I think that’s correct, I got 1 above average and 2 average, only just received the results but not heard anything else as of yet.

xelisin 7th January 2025 15:04

Where do you have to head to receive your results?

787lover 7th January 2025 15:47

Hello guys happy new year to all!
I have finally reached the age requirement to apply. I feel nervous but excited.
I just want to ask about the 3 tests
Is the maths tests any similar to any GCSE topics like speed distance time, as I have seen people talk about it being really hard and there's many graphs and more statistics.
Just really curious as I don't want all my preparation to go to waste.

Thanks for seeing and good luck with your application!
Blue skies up!!

It’s not really like GCSE maths, as with all questions you have to answer using data from the table / graph.
Personally, i found most of them difficult and if you have done the practice questions on SOVA beforehand, the real ones are much harder.

Flightradar247 7th January 2025 16:44

Completed the tests and recieved instant invite to the digital interview. Now waiting till March! Where can I see the average/above average etc?

Highflyer3 7th January 2025 18:56

Completed my tests this morning and still not hard back, messed up the numerical reasoning pretty bad. Im assuming the fact that I haven't heard back means that ive got the chop...anyone else not hear for a while and then eventually get an email from Tui?

Took over 24hrs for me to get results, still not heard whether I am through or not yet though

Highflyer3 7th January 2025 19:05

Very odd...have you tried to contact the recruitment team?

Upload the photo and I can quadruple check it for you.
