I wouldn't, as your IP will just flag up on their system. Also, if you do fail, so what, you're career will be full of failures, you won't be able to just try again but you'll need to work out on the spot what to do. If you fail, it's not a sign that you're not capable, rather everyone else has either got that problem solving ability, or if they haven't they've worked on it, so don't shortcut that process, it's not sustainable. Try your best, that's all you can do, breathe and solve the questions, they aren't horrendous, just stay calm and solve them. You'll be fine!

I understand. I only asked since in another thread regarding BA Speedbird academy you are given several attempts before failure and I wasn't 100% sure if TUI did follow the same idea. I knew I was underprepared but my 2am brain told me to do it anyways, I certainly wasn't expecting the logical reasoning to throw me off as it did and I only fully understood how it worked in the last question. That's on me and... definitely not a professional look of me. I'll make sure I don't make the same mistake when BA Speedbird academy opens up next month and TUI next year. Best of luck to all :)

Hi guys,
Was reading through this forum, in order to see what i needed to do roughly in order to pass the tests - fortunately, it seems like i'm in the clear since i've recieved the email accepting me into the digital interview (will be receiving the results tomorrow), and also have got the DI on my portal. Though something that i am somewhat confused about is that i have another cognitive reasoning module that its allowing me to take. I don't really understand why, and i don't want to click on it and potentially screw anything up. If anybody else has the same situation please let me know. And any tips for the DI would be highly appreciated. Thanks |
For those asking about the 'About Me' section, they're just simple multiple choice questions about your eligibility and they also ask about your GCSE/A levels/Degree grades, and some biological questions (Age, sex, ethnicity etc). Basic stuff that needs no preparation.
With regards to the online assessments, I can see that I can click on them individually so I am assuming this means that I can do them individually/spread out throughout the day, but just wanted to check to see if this was the case? Wouldn't want to start one assessment and realise that I'm not prepared/got time to complete the other two. Thanks in advance! |

I have completed both the Intro/About me (inc. CV), the online assessments, and was able to progress straight to the digital interview. Now I believe it's a wait until March! :)
Can you remember how long it said you had to complete the digital interview after you passed the assessments? |
From what others have said you don't get a chance to re-record your answers. Theres a practise mode on the SOVA website that allows you to practice them. It works the same way as any one sided interview.

Believe its 5 days after you get the email, so use that time to practice and prep

Could someone add me to the WhatsApp group chat as well please?
|
Just out of curiosity I was wondering if anybody knows what ATPL exam standard TUI / BA expect of their cadets? I can imagine it would be higher than the 75% pass mark and can assume they wouldn't allow many if any fails at all?
|
Would someone also be kind enough to add me to the Whatsapp Group? :)

I know BA for the Speedbird Academy it's 85% average no more than 3 resits, as well as First Series passes in flight tests. Seeing that TUI asked for the same requirements for those being tagged by LE and Skyborne I would assume also 85% and no more than 3 fails for the MPL.

When I login to tui careers, the date has changed to 2/2. Anyone else had the date change? Recon this is a bad sign?

How much time do you have from reading the question(s) to starting the interview responses?

you can practise by searching sofa assessment practise. |
Just wondering, with it being an MPL not a ATPL how hard would it be to convert the license? Would you get the hours to unfreeze it with TUI then just need to do the skills test?
