Not Austro but I knew someone who made their own document listing the exams and how many attempts. They sent that document to the school and asked for a stamp and signature from the HOT.

Anyone here who did their ATPL exams through Austro Control? I have a 'Licence Results Overview' which has all my ATPL exam results on, but it doesn't state how many attempts it took to sit each exam (all were passed 1st time). On the list of items to bring to the interview it says I need to bring my ATPL exam results and it must state how many attempts I took per exam. Any advice or anyone had similar problem having sat exams with Austro? I've emailed them to see if they can issue me a document showing my exam results and that they were all passed on first attempt, or if they can just confirm this by email and I can take that with me as confirmation, but not sure if that wil suffice?

As long as you take the License Results overview and your letter of recommendation from your training school mentions the number of times it took you to pass, that's enough. That's what I took when I went for my assessment.

Hi, thanks for the reply. I did my training modular so my ATPL training provider was different to where I did my CPL MEIR. The flight school report from where I did the CPL MEIR mentions I passed CPL and IR first time but no mention of ATPL Exam attempts as they were done at different ATO.

Easiest to just get your ATPL theory provider to write you a confirmation, or if your CPL-MEIR provider are aware of your ATPL theory results, get them to add it to their flight school report!

Just for polish, hungarian, bulgarian applicant who join to Buzz. This is a contractor agreement. Have to pay 6k upfront and the remaining 24k will bond from the salary in 27 month. 1k per month. For Ryanair DAC, and Ryanair UK the upfront is 30k.

Hey guys,
Has anyone come across this offer recently? apply .workable .com/ryanair/j/A202FEDC72/ "Ryanair are delighted to announce a unique opportunity for a discounted or free Boeing 737 Type Rating training for trainee pilots who complete either a 2 or 3 year posting in Ryanair’s state-of-the-art Operations Control Centre in Dublin. Please note this is an office based role." "Ryanair B737 Type Rating programme at a reduced rate of either €5k (2 year posting in the OCC) or Free (3 year posting in the OCC), instead of the current €30k." I understand that while working at OCC there is no chance to fly on behalf of RYR (and of course not for any other company either) so renewing the licenses (keep MEP validated and medical for example) will charge us considerable amounts and of course two/three years without flight time. A good opportunity for those who are unable to take a loan for the TR tho. They offer an option to apply also for those who are going to finish their training in the next 3 months (myself for example). Has anyone applied or know someone who has? Hope to hear your opinion on this option! Have a nice weekend everyone. |
Any rumours at all of the mentoured APS potentially opening up to UK applicants? I see on the website for DEFO/DECPT they "accept UK for application only" but nothing further expressed on this.
Thanks |

Just like to thank everyone for the information so far!
My ME(L) and ME IR expires end of April. Does this need to be valid if I start the type rating course or does it need to be valid for an assessment only? |
Hey Guys,
I took the RYR assessment on April 2022 last year, but unfortunately I was not successful. It will be a year in Two months, and I would like to know if some of you had a second chance a year after ? I don't know if I should try to get in contact with them knowing that they rarely answer to that kind of mail. Any thoughts ? |

hi guys,
Which website do you recommend for practice to the online assessment? For me pilotassessments.com was a very good preparation, so I can recommend them. The preparation there is called “Irish Low Cost Carrier”. There is as well a forum on that website with many feedback reports from other candidates for both the online and Dublin assessment. Anyway all the best, been there as well :) |
