Hi guys, they say we are not expected to go through the check list (example before landing checklist), or QRH (in emergency). They say just “call it out”. Can someone explain what they mean by that?
thanks |

Hi everyone,
Anyone knows how much time they are taking to give an answer once you've applied for their AFA cadet programme? Thanks and good luck to everyone:) |
Hi guys, does it help attending the roadshows whilst you are still waiting for them to get back on the cadet application? Anyone had luck with this?

I Want to share my assessment experience
So for those whom are waiting, please don’t quit I applied in beginning of September, received the online invitation in November and Dublin invitation in December to make the assessment in January. I have just a regular MCC, we were 8 as usual, 4 of us had APS-MCC Ryanair Mentored. We were paired with according with our experience. HR Interview Tech Interview. The simulator, TNT 2N, cleared to 5000ft. Short brief, FD and AT on, at around 4000ft AT and FD disconnect. Fly SID, then intercept radials, accelerate to 310kts, decelerate to 230kts, descent to 3000 ft at 800ft/min. Step turn 45 deg. Stopped the sim and asked where we were in relation to the NDB, and which holding entry sector, to both of us. Then emergency and vectors for ils. For my theoretical preparation i used the pilot assessment and for the sim i combined the info from the brief package and the pilot assessment information, then i made 3 simulator sessions in my own country, i didn’t on the Ryanair recommended places, but all the other guys made on the recommended places. I got a positive result in the days after. I wish the best luck for you all. |

Feedback
Hi guys, just want to give feedback.
i got my license in the last few months of 2022 I applied in early December and uploaded all documents. They emailed me a link to the online assessment same evening and I paid €60 for it. I did it few days later and then I got invited to sim in Dublin in mid Jan. I did 4 hour sim prep at Upilot at Dublin. Good place, but the sim is not accurate to the real sim. The trim did not work when I was there. But they help you lot with theory as well. I did the assesment/interview. My HR/tech interview was surprisingly short, around 8 minutes. that kind made me feel bad, as I thought I might have put them off and they were not interested in me. I later googled and felt better as it said it might be because they already know all they needed to know, so no point continuing further. then came the sim assesment. PF and PM, not Liverpool Pol4T SID. All good. then steep turns. then emergnecy and Radar vectored ILS back at Liverpool. Flew the ILS like a champ. no go around. Top tip: know the pitch and power settings at 60 tons, and it really is price of cake. few days later I got the good news. for emergency one of us had fwd cargo fire the other had passenger with health emergency Use T DODAR or similar. Show CRM, always talk and communicate with partner. it’s really chilled environment. They do really make you feel comfortable. Just be yourself guys. Dress up smart. You will meet other cadets all over Europe. all the best guys. |

How is it possible that some people get the invitation link for the online assessment the same day they apply, whereas other people like me have been waiting for 2 months now ? It's crazy unfair

Hi guys,
I know for many it will sounds funny but I just wouldn’t want to waste my chance because of that, also I couldn’t find answer for that. I know they want from you 2 reference letters. I see you can bring one from someone you know for more than 5 years and I will bring from my very best friend that I know for like 12 years but I don’t know what about with other one. They don’t want you to bring reference from relatives as a someone who you know for 5 years but what about if I worked in 2 companies of my father and getting reference from him as my employer/boss. When it comes to one from the school it’s also not that easy as it’s hundreds of kilometers ride and also I would have to translate it. Thought about getting one from my flight instructor but I’m not sure if it’s ,,educational body”. Or simply just bring two reference letters from someone I know for 5 years would that be a problem? Thank you |

That's true. But I believe it's 6K.
Another difference is that you'll work as a contractor |

Is this true? Any new joiners can confirm that?

Just for polish, hungarian, bulgarian applicant who join to Buzz. This is a contractor agreement. Have to pay 6k upfront and the remaining 24k will bond from the salary in 27 month. 1k per month. For Ryanair DAC, and Ryanair UK the upfront is 30k.

Anyone here who did their ATPL exams through Austro Control? I have a 'Licence Results Overview' which has all my ATPL exam results on, but it doesn't state how many attempts it took to sit each exam (all were passed 1st time). On the list of items to bring to the interview it says I need to bring my ATPL exam results and it must state how many attempts I took per exam. Any advice or anyone had similar problem having sat exams with Austro? I've emailed them to see if they can issue me a document showing my exam results and that they were all passed on first attempt, or if they can just confirm this by email and I can take that with me as confirmation, but not sure if that wil suffice?
