I'm waiting from two months and half...

@Pirrex did you applied only from one mail?

jeehaa 2nd Feb 2013 04:44

Most of you guys seem to miss a critical point: some lucky ones will get an email or call after applying, the majority will never hear anything. Those who will have a call or email could get that after 1-2 days, some after 6-7 months. Don't get your hopes up, so it can only be better than that. Don't expect any reply, certainly after the recent announcement about the recruitment for this year.

Almost 20 days waiting for the assessment results.. !?!

anyone in the same position? should I expect an e-mail or a call?

cheers guys

Hi all,

IŽve been reading this site awhile now and finally decided to join you. :)
I got an email from CAE a few days ago as well and I applied in last december. Since I donŽt have 1 hour flight time during last 6 months I have to wait before sending my cv to them. Fortunately I got an a/c for next weekend. WeŽll see what happens then...

Ryanair recruitment stopping in April...

See below and quote from Ryanair website...

*Note: Due to the introduction of EU Commission Regulation No. 1178/2011 on the 8th of April 2012, which restricts airlines' ability to conduct checks on holders of EASA Part-FCL Licenses, holders of Part-FCL licenses are eligible to apply but, if successful, will only be offered training course places commencing after 8th April 2013 and only if that EASA PART FCL Licence can be transferred to an IAA issued EASA PART FCL Licence.

- This would suggest that there will be courses after April 2012, at the very least it certainly doesn't rule them out. But, with aviation, theres obviously no guarantee.

I'm waiting from two months...same your position!!

jeehaa 2nd Feb 2013 15:10

There will be courses after April, both in EMT and CAE, just as said a few pages back. BUT only people from the CV 'pool' will be used for the selection days.

ValePilot 3rd Feb 2013 08:05

And why are they still calling people for the CV?

finswe 3rd Feb 2013 10:02

Maybe they are calling CVs until April.?

jeehaa 3rd Feb 2013 13:57

Please, to all of you, read the posts carefully, and there will be no misunderstandings!

If you apply and are requested to send your CV, it will go onto a big pile of other CV's. SOME of them get an invitation for the assessment, MOST of them don't. That is the way it's works, whether you like it or not. Didn't hear anything for a long time? Be creative! Complaining about it on this forum is not.

Today someone from the 8/9 Jan assessment got the rejection email. They are getting quite slow... If you read the first pages of this thread guys in 2007/2008 got their reply a hour after the assessment or the day after...

Aarrg thought that a late response was a good sign :/

Rejections

I spoke with some friends today. Most of them did their flight training through CAE. They went to Ryanair for an assesment early january and all got a rejection email. One of the guys told that in the email it was said that they were booked full for 2013, and that was the reason why they were all rejected?? All these guys got very good feedback on their assesments and were told that 'good news would probably come within 2 weeks'. What is going on? Can anyone confirm this?

Of course NOT... Nobody can... No feedback in anyway is given per email, nor any other reason not to take people.

'Good feedback on their assessment' can be interpretated in many ways, especially from hear say and from ppl that came out of the assesment 'high' or 'stoned'.

Rejection

Then why would they say: 'good news will probably arrive within 2 weeks?'

People talk so much s**t on this page.....it's amusing.:O

It seems that cadets are a little like canon fodder for generating revenue to sustain the operation at a lower level?.
