Hey everyone, I sent an application yesterday for the NTR cadet position at Wizz. Today the status says "you have not been selected" but it seems kind of weird to me because I assume that means I've been rejected but it's been less than 24 hours since I sent the application there's no way with the volume of applications they recive they would have been able to review it already. Thoughts?

For anyone interested, it seems that Wizzair is at the moment very quick answering to application.

For me the timeline was:
Application sent: 22/09
Shortlisted email: 03/10
URL for booking assesment: 07/10 (I saw it after 2 hours so all slots were booked).

Finally, by chance yesterday I logged in, and I found a slot on 5-6 December, so I booked it.

Hi guys, I applied to Wizzair the 7th of January 2022 but my application status is still "We are currently reviewing all applications". Although I updated my information regularly I'm starting to think i maybe should withdraw my application and send a new one.
Anyone with the same issue or that have any insight on this?

I've had an application in for the UK AOC since early August 2022, I'm NTR cadet level and only have a UK licence, still on the "reviewing all applications" stage. Any info regarding how many if any UK licence holders are getting called would be appreciated.

As far as I know now they are calling for wizz Hungary so only the one with easa license. They did the selection for wizz UK during august/September

I applied for the UK NTR cadet position in December 2021. I had no movement on my application until after I attended a virtual open day in July 2022. Invited to assessment September 2022. I have a UK and EASA licence, but others there held only a UK licence, so they are certainly getting called. Successfully passed selection and now swimming in the hold pool. My advice - have a few hours on an A320 sim and get subscribed to pilotassessments

A month ago i received an email saying that i had to upload some documents.
I upload them all but, since then, i haven't received any mail.. my application status is still " Reviewing all applications " .. Should I write a mail to wizz? Or I have to wait another 4 months to get an answer as if it were the first time that I apply?

How did Wizz contact you to confirm start date 2 months after congrats email? Was it via email or phone?

I'll try bud, I think there was a bug with my application because as soon as I put it in it was rejected, I meet and exceed all the requirements so it can't be that. I think they might be using some sort of program to scan files and it might have missread my logbook. Hopefully I can get some clarifications.

As I was told, before changing the status of your application it is manually checked.

Still very weird though, I would suggest making another account and try again.

I tried to answer answer your private message, but seams full.

They contact you by mail. The waiting time depends. In my case 2 months and a half. Others just 1 month... it's not standard and I don't know if there are some differences between Wizz hungary and Wizz UK or Abu Dhabi

There was an online open day, where the member of recruitment team gave a special offer. Who scenned the QR-code and fill the form, they garantee the application scanning during this week. I filled the form and my status updated to: "You have not been selected on this job requisition, You may re-apply immediately." What? I do not understand this. I think somebody had a drinked night at Wizzair.
