Hi all. Just thought I'd share my situation as well. I applied for NTR Cadet F/O for Abu Dhabi base in November 2021, and a I received the "You have been forwarded as an applicant..." on 20 October 2022, almost a full year later. Now waiting for the next communication, fingers crossed it's a good one!

Got Invited to assessment today, i checked availability, but only thing was at 14-15 November. Will there be more slots at a later date, I think a week of training and reading up is a bit short.

They are gradually adding open dates for assessments, usually at the beginning of the month, keep an eye on it and you will see some for the next weeks/months. I'm in the same situation.

Has anyone attended the virtual open days? Do you guys think it is worth it to? I would prefer to go to a in person event but i don't think they are coming to Portugal any time soon

Same here applied in end of february/march and got shortlisted a month or two ago. Im 32 years old and was kinda worried since others at this age had been rejected in this thread apparently.

Definitely, attend the next virtual event. I applied in the mid September and waited until the end of October without any changes in my applications, although I had friends shortlisted days after applying. I withdrew my application and created a new profile and new application from scratch on 31st of October and on the 7th November I attended their virtual event where they gave us a QR code valid during presentation and promised to analyze our application within a week. I scanned the QR code and filled some details, the following day I was shortlisted, currently waiting for the link to schedule my assessment.
So from my experience I can recommend attending any event of theirs not only to get to know the airline and what to expect but also to have a chance to get an offer like I did.

Nope, it's just a QR code with some google sheets where you put your details and they analyze your application in a fast forward mode.
