Hello guys/girls, a small feedback of the assessment in Dublin.
Days started at 08.30 am, quick tour of the offices, all of you will join in the briefing room where they will do a small presentation of both the company and the Sim assessment.
After that they will pair you for the Sim and they will give you the charts to brief yourself and your partner.
immediately after starts the tech and HR interview and at the same time sim assessment.
Interview questions ( 2 people in the room HR and Sim assessor):
HR:
- talk me about yourself
-what do you know about the company
- how the skills you learned in your past job will translate to your future job
- importance of SOPs
- what will you do if your captain isn't following the sops.
Techinical:
- your past aircrafts ( SE, ME also the auprt one)
- difference between max and NG
- why do we need winglets
- why winglets on NG and Max are different.
( people after me had other harder questions)
Sim
Very chill situation, they really try NOT to put you in a stresfull situation
Standard SID with A/T and FDs , at level off altitude disengage the A/T and FDs and you will do some manoeuvres . ( Turns, climbs ecc)
Sim pause, situation awareness question, really understand your QDM /QDR you really dont want to fail this part.
emergency scenario, do fdodar/piosee ,return back, ILS approach to land and the assessment finishes.
Best of luck

Who has been through the interview process with RYR recently??
Can everyone who has kindly contribute what questions they were asked in both interviews?

I've done the first interview (part of the online assessement)
The questions were something along the lines of (can't remember exactly the wording):
-What makes you a good fit for ryanair?
-Why did you chose ryanair?
-What was the most challenging part in your flight training?

Hey guys,
Been invited to the sim assessment / interview in Dublin, 3rd of August.
Anyone else going? And if anyone interested in doing some sim preparation together the day before, feel free to shoot me a DM.
Cheers

Hi,
Did you get your invitation right away after successful online pre-assessment or have you been placed in a holding pool list?
I have got email 7th of July that I have successfully completed online part and I will be contacted in due course...

I received the e-mail saying I passed the online assessement and was in a holding pool and some hours later I received another e-mail where they offered me a date for the presential interview in Dublin. This all happened this week. Maybe wait another week and if nothing happens try to contact them? Or check your spam folder!

Hi, I got confirmation on the pre-assesment on 7th July too and also got no news but as I saw Ryanair tries to group people in Dublin based on their location so I guess they're waiting for more people from Poland to finish the online part

Thank you for your replies! I'm checking my spam folder on a daily basis , so I guess they are really waiting for more polish candidates. Anyway in RYR things are going faster than in Wizz << 4 months has passed and they are still "reviewing applications" .

Any news from those towards the end of training on the likelihood of an SO contract as Ryanair seem to have a lot of cadets going through training at the moment.
