Hello A320LGW,

Do you mean that after failing a sim assessment you are not given a second chance after 12 months?

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

I got a rejection email few weeks ago, 1 year after application. Never been invited to the online assessment. I did what they call "canvassing" by trying to understand what was wrong with my profile (ATPL theory first pass > 90%, very good school report). It is disappointing to see friends being called after few days only and waiting so long to just get a rejection email. Nevermind,

Ok thank you A320LGW

Contact Approach I really doubt this will happen ever again..these guys are recruiting full on since December 2020. They didn't like what happened back in 2017-18 and they are two steps ahead now.

Anyone who is rejected by Ryanair has dodged a fatal bullet. Take the moment to dance and remain positive. You will get there if you really want it.

There’s a huge exodus from ryr on the horizon from those who couldn’t move during Covid and who are completely fed up. The Ryr shine wears off pretty quickly for many after time and historically the majority moves on. Combine that with the upcoming licensing issue and G-reg / Brexit and ryr have troubled waters ahead.

I seriously regret to advise that of my friends in both wizz and ryanair, the wizz ones are by a country mile the more pee'd off group

Same for me, first passes, 93% average, bachelor's degree in engineering , and one year after applying I received a rejection email, no online assessment nor nothing. So much the worse for them.

I got rejected twice after the online assessment. The tests were extremely easy though, but after my 2nd attempt AFA would not give me any timeframe on when I can apply again. I sent them a message inquiring about this, and they response was that re-applying is no longer an option for me. Is there anyone else in a similar situation, and have they really "banned" you from re-applying ever again?

Thanks

Are you an RYR recruiter? How can you be so sure about that?

RYR does not have an age limit, like Wizz. I had spoken with them personally in pilot expo.

I got rejected at interview and they were very vague about 2nd try for interview in the mail. I think it was the simulator that i needed improvement on. But when you pay 300euro for an interview i kinda feel like you should at least get a sentence in feedback but no.. They explicitly said they had large amounts of interviewees weekly and wasnt able to give any.

Has anyone been called back for a 2nd interview and if so how long between did it take?

I think so too. I guess they don't call over 40

Oh, this is what you think. Great. Not even an official source, not something from "inside". It is what a random member of pprune "thinks". This is a truly reliable source. Thanks! I also know a guy, whose uncle knows a guy, whose cousin knows also a guy who possibly knows. I might ask him in order to help all the member who are interested.

If you are searching for reliable sources quoting airline hiring practices which break laws you are in the wrong place. Or if you are naive enough to think this is, then that's another matter.

I take part in the type rating course at East Midlands and am now looking for accommodation nearby. I noticed that some apartments offer 2 bedrooms - ideal to split the cost between 2 people. My course is FR2257 and dates: Intro course starts on 15th August, type rating on 07th September). If you are interested please reach out to me.
