Hello,
I would like to ask which one do you recommend for sim assessment preparation, AFA or UPilot? Thank you for the feedback.

Hi everyone one,
I am wondering if anyone is able to advise on my situation. I applied to the cadet scheme on the 28/05/2020 but never heard anything back. The in May 2022 I decided to check my online portal but I was unable to login and change password or anything like that. So I then created another account and reapplied 04/05/2022. But again have heard nothing back. The system seems to have found the previous application and attached it to the new account as well. Basically my application never moves forward to the online assessment stage and everyone else seems to get those within a few weeks of applying which makes me think my account is being lost or something. People I know who applied in July are starting TR's next month.

Wondering what people advise I do as the site says not to contact them?
Thanks for any help

Did you receive the email saying they had received your application? If you did and they never got back to you about an online assessment then it most likely means they haven't chosen you for selection unfortunately. It happens almost instantly for most applicants who do get called. There are other opportunities popping up elsewhere so don't get too caught up over it.

Anyone here who was unsuccessful in Dublin and got invited for a second chance after reapplying? And if so for how long did you have to wait after applying? Thank you!

Hi! When did you pass the online assessment? I passed mine in late July and I’m still waiting for a Dublin assessment date…

Hello.

I originally applied to both “AFA cadets” and “Lauda cadets”, on the same day. I only heard back from AFA, no response from Lauda whatsoever. This is the timeframe in my case:

  • Applied: July 24th
  • Invitation to Online: August 4th
  • Online Assessment: August 10th
  • Positive Results: August 12th
  • Invitation to Dublin: August 15th

From what I read on pilotassessments.com, the response time varies. Some candidates received an invitation the next business day or so, while others had to wait a few weeks. Not sure what’s the determining factor though.

Hello

Does anybody know if RYR have a validity requirement for the ME/IR?
I've seen other airlines write that the certificate need at least 6 months validity before needing renewal in order to apply.

The reason I'm asking is because my license expires end September, and I am planning to renew in a couple of weeks. However, will it make any sense to apply for the Cadet programme now, and then update the application in a couple of weeks?

There's nothing on the Ryanair website mentioning this so I would assume that there's no limit, as long as your ME/IR is still valid at the time you submit your application and when you go for the dublin assessment you should be fine. Correct me if I'm wrong

Greetings,

Anybody know how long to hear from RYR about assessment day results? They said 7 business days, but I had mine last Wednesday, 10th August, and I've heard nothing. My application status [error, we've already received your application] hasn't changed either, so no way of knowing the result.

They did say they'd try and target Monday 15th when I went, but they said they were short staffed, apparently a lot on leave or something.
