I know the B757 was in St Nazaire a few days ago (and that's 99% for sure).
B747.... no idea.

tu_ki,

The only thing I know is that the ex crews have been seen in CDG.
Forget about George V and Fouquet's... these were... let's say "private jokes". And Should Eagle reach Fouquet's and George V hotel standards.... Argh !!! Gear, stop dreaming ! wake up !

Look, Eagle have offices in CDG... I guess it will be in CDG or in ORY. Maybe in St Nazaire for an A/C visit. The location is just a detail at the moment.

Today's Friday. We're supposed to receive that "official update" today.
Don't have much hope !

1. I don't know about that "5 days" story... How does an airline get an AOC ? Honestly I have no clue.
2. I do not expect any update today (this story's been the same, week after week since July!). On the other hand, I do hope I'm wrong !

I don't know how to get an AOC but I read somewhere the airline needs to show the Authorities all the Manuals, Safety procedures, MEL, a/c, etc etc etc.... so I guess is not easy.... But if 5 days in advance they know if theyre getting it or not today should be "the day" since Stephanie said they're working to get it by the 20th, which is next Sunday.... and I don't think DGAC work on Sundays in France.....

And I'm not hoping to get any email today either.... we all know what happened last time we got that answer!! But we might be wrong

Ref the AOC, If they know they are getting it in five days time then they have it? but can start operating in 5 days?
To get one you must produce a lot of paperwork like; FTL's how many crew per A/c etc etc, you get my point. Some NAA require crews to be already trained,Tech CC and maybe check in staff, blar blar blar.
I've heard that the DGAC is at the head office this week and so might be finishing the last of the paperwork. Let hope so

I also understand that the 2nd 744 is in England. So that A/c would require yet more paperwork to put it on the french registry. about 2 weeks. so when that 1 moves the AOC must be issued. (just a good guess).

Any thoughts BB?

What I understood is that the DGAC tell them something like: in 5 days you'll have your AOC.....

I was a bit curious about the uniform as well.... do u think we'll fly for Saudi Arabian Airlines??? They had a big dispute last year and Eagle got the French Authorities to seize one of their aircrafts at CDG due to an understanding payment

Hi 2ki,

Is that 5 working days ie, next friday you can start operating? or "It all looks good in 5 days time you should have your aoc" (but not for sure.).

Ref the inpounded A/c that was the administrator. not really eagle france.

My beer bet is still good, any takers yet

TcKVs

I'd say is 'all looks good, in 5 days u should have your AOC' but Im not sure about this.... But as soon as u get the AOC u can start operating.

I'm taking that bet btw.... I'd say first crews will be flying.....:confused : by 2nd week of October!!
