In the end of last year I spoke to a friend who flies there. He told me that Copa had some delays in aircraft delivery, that's the reason Copa is not calling anyone for screening process right now, he is pretty sure that they will hire again this year, there are a lot of pilots leaving copa for other airlines in US, and middle east, he also told me that they have a lot of upgrade process for next year, and they are increasing the number of instructors.

Hello,
Any pilots currently flying for Copa Airlines who can give some more info on possibility of roster bids, how many days on and off the roster is, and/or if part time working is a possibility and if commuting is possible?
Thanks.

So you also posted about entry level bush flying jobs in Africa. Copa min is 1000 hours. Do you have that?

Applied
Hello everyone. Hope you're all doing fantastic. I just applied to COPA very recently and was wondering on how long it usually takes for them to get back to an applicant and what's the application process and interview like? Thank you all in advance!

You'll get a minimum of 9 days off per month and you may bid up to 5 days off in a row. The company provides free tickets to and from your home country provided it is in the network. There are some foreigners that commute, but it's quite tiresome. This is not a job that was meant to be a commuting scheme despite all the bidding features in the rostering system.

Hi everyone, does anyone have any information about upcoming pilot recruitment processes in the near future? I’ve noticed the company is increasing frequencies in South America, and I was wondering if that might lead to new hirings. I’m also curious if Boeing has caught up with the aircraft delivery delays. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone, I just received this email:
"As part of our selection process, we need to ensure your information is up to date. We kindly ask that you complete the following form."
Does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back from them after submitting the form? Appreciate any insight!

I received the same but I also received another email along with that asking me to apply to the "Primer Oficial" position (First Officer). Did anyone else receive this? Also how long does it take typically for the next step? Thank you

Hi everyone, how are you?
I just wanted to share that I recently saw about 40 first officers were promoted to captain. Hopefully, this opens the door for more new entries.
Does anyone have contacts inside the company who could share reliable information?
Or has anyone heard anything else?
Thanks!
