Wonkerwonkerwonker.....

So here we go part 2 BA's whipping boys and girls over at the Waterside bunker will be feeding the press twaddle once again this week. I do feel sorry for them and also the vols who should be ashamed for actions that are beyond words. I know BASSA reps will not let us down in court and a win will be a bonus although BA will appeal and appeal injunct again and again but we are not going to let the little man get us down. Proud to be in BASSA and i know our reps will give it go but BA spending millions on strike busting companies and legal teams sometimes money talks. Anyway another move in this chess game lets see who comes out on top so let the media distortion begin i await one of Bill's classic video's to appear in the next few days.

P.S what happened to ballot number 2 hotel chats in Nottingham Brighton etc like last time perhaps single figure visitors didn't seem worth it second time around.

WWW, completely incomprehensible as always.....it means that it's not understandable, it's not a message that we can understand, drivel of the poorest kind.

You've really got a niche market on that at the moment, especially now that it seems that lurker/fume event and missM have jumped ship with the other union braincell.

Good luck tomorrow by the way....something tell me that pleading idiocy may not get you out of the woods this time around, although if Sir Walsh has read any of your posts I'd say it's probably your best shot.

What did he do at Air Lingus by the way? What was that? He closed the airline down and made everyone reapply for their jobs on a new contract? What, a written job-application, with punctuation and everyfink? Good luck mate!!!

Like I said, play the idiocy card that you lay so well and leave the rest of us to run the airline, which we WILL do, and rather well, whilst you call in 'sick' on 1st March.

watersidewonker:

Do you expect that Unite will lose tommorrow, some of your language suggests they might:

I know BASSA reps will not let us down in court and a win will be a bonus although BA will appeal and appeal injunct again and again but we are not going to let the little man get us down. Proud to be in BASSA and i know our reps will give it go but BA spending millions on strike busting companies and legal teams sometimes money talks.

Your determination is to be applauded. A lot of the others have left this forum as they didn't have the guts or stamina to fight their case.Do you think they will fare better on the picket line?

Does anyone know how long the High Court case is listed for? I assume it will take longer than a day.

Also, note it may be some time before the court gives its judgement after the case has been heard.

I was a little bit hopeful about the new "union" but now I feel thoroughly depressed.
Set up with BA money? (so not, er, exactly independent then) but this took the biscuit:

"No one can argue that the Gatwick salary is more than generous and crew at the base survive more than comfortably on this pay scale"

Can one of their "reps" please explain their definition of "surviving comfortably" please?

To the PCC

With reference to a post earlier about stopping militants from joining the PCC.
I'm sure you have thought of it anyway but I find having to post under your real name, fleet and job title on the BALPA forum makes people think twice before hitting the submit key. This automatically drives the comments more to the middle ground and so opens up debate. Probably best to wait till membership increases and you are recognised by BA.
All the best to you all.
Barbosa.

PCCC are NOT on facebook

I see there's suddenly a facebook page claiming to be the PCCC.

Seems odd. Why on the day that they launch their website (www.professionalcrewcouncil.com) would they bother to start a facebook page as well? Especially to announce some very unlikely "news" about funding from BA.

Having spoken directly with the founders of the PCCC, I can confirm that they have no knowledge whatsoever about this page, or its contents. Can only conclude therefore that it is false, and has been set-up in an attempt to undermine the PCCC by spreading lies.

I am BA Cabin Crew. These thoughts are my own, not those of my employer.

Cheer up

What you have reported above (I think from facebook?) is nothing at all to do with the PCCC. See my post above.

Could it be one of BASSA's stunts?

Because if it is - they are beyond desperation!

We are going to lose either way

I have voted yes, as I would really rather see the company go bust then work under those terms and conditions. I am 33% and am very fortunate to have another business.
Before you all go mad, I have worked for the company for 22 years, and this is the worst it has got, I really dont care anymore.
I will not tolerate being bullied by a bunch of pen pushers who know nothing about the airline.
Bring on the strike - what to wear on the picket line, what to wear !!

Typical 33%, probably useless 33% of the time with something else or someone else to pay the bills and f it all up for everyone else.
Thanks.

marky...

If you really do have another business and if you "really don't care anymore" then why don't you consider the plight of a lot of your full time colleagues who need BA to keep going? Do us all a favour and just hand in your notice, no one forces you to work for BA.

Not at all, I was 75% for 11 years, but the work and trips got so much harder, I had no choice but to take 33% and find another job to do, starting my own business, worked really well, and I was very lucky as I got a lot of help with this.

That, or maybe just done by one of the misguided individuals.

Either way, as you say, it just shows the absolute desperation. They are going down, and they know it. Not taking us with them though ..... when will they cotton-on to that, I wonder?

On behalf of the PCCC we have not set up a Facebook page. This is clearly an attempt to sabotage us.

We are NOT funded by BA, nor do we agree with anything that was posted as a "statement" on Facebook. Rest assured that our intentions are not to damage any crew's terms and condition.

www.professionalcrewcouncil.com is our official means of communication.

I'm BA Cabin Crew and the above represent my personal views and not those of BA.

You can easily report messages that are "offensive" to Facebook, I suggest that the PCCC members with Facebook accounts post a denial immediately on the discussion page and report the lies to Facebook.

Good luck for tomorrow BA!

You have been flying for 22 years and don't care any more - you say you would rather see the company go bust than have your terms and conditions changed - you have a private business on the side - do everyone a favour and resign!

Do you have ANY idea how selfish it is to say that you would rather see the company go bust!?

Sorry to say this but BA doesn't need people like you.

MarkyMark:

I'd leave if I were you mate. Sounds like a dreadful place to work. I don't know how you've stuck it out for so long.

Good luck in your new business! Hope it goes well for you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

So, PCC - Sounds like BASSA members are getting really desperate now. Fake Facebook pages indeed!

Good luck to you all for the court case tomorrow. I'll be looking forward to the results. I hope BA will continue its services uninterrupted.

Thanks to the dedication of all the non-militant staff and volunteer crews I have every faith that it will.

Keep the faith people! BA are not finished yet.
