Hey FCC
The rosters follow no pattern whatsoever.
Its computer generated they say. You could get 2 Londons in a 1 month roster....alot of turnarounds...or vice versa..all depends.
My roster in Sept I got 1 turn around and the rest were layovers. I think 6 or 7 layovers...Some crew have been flying for almost a year and havent been to all of the Cities on the Etihad network.. we fly to already 45 destinations..so plenty to cover.

Thanks Nickvan,
I have been thinking of applying to EY for a while and that was one key points to me. I am a bit concerned about the minimum rest as we are talking about long haul and I think it might end up taking its toll.
Do you know of any blog or another webpage where I could find some FAQ´s about working for EY. As I am trying to gather data about the conditions and more detailed info on sectors, layovers, accommodation, opinion of current cabin crew already there,...etc.
Cheers from Bristol

medicals
Hi Bluesky,
I'm not sure if you are a guy or girl... I haven't done my medicals yet but I have friends who just finished theirs this week.
They told me it's just the basic stuff like blood, urine, heart, hearing test, eyes, teeth x ray, chest x ray.
In EK they have Pap's but in EY they dont require (well, it depends on which clinic actually).
And you need to undergo all the basic vaccination and that is what's costly...
I plan to have the vaccination first even if they haven't notified me yet!!

Sydney Assesment Day
Hey Guys,
Is anyone planning on going to the Sydney assesment day in November and know what date it is? The website still says TBA but I have some friends already at EY and they told me they think it is on the 1st?
John

Hi John
I am going but flying in from Melbourne.
From what I understand you first have to be invited to the assessment day or I could be wrong & they may accept candidates on the day??
The date is 3rd November.
Looking forward to meeting all the others on the day

Australian assessment days
Hey everyone
I'm new to the forums... found it because I was looking for tips at the interview/assessment day!
Anyway I live in Adelaide and applied to Etihad two weeks ago, got an invitation the next day inviting me to the assessment day in Brisbane on 7th Nov... am weirded out now that I didn't get the option to choose either Syd or Bris! Would've chosen Syd as it's sooner and the flight is cheaper... hmm... anyway doesn't matter but is anyone here definately going to the one in Brisbane?
I'm a little nervous..

re: test...
Hi Bizz,
The only test I had during the assesment day was the english proficiency test. It is very basic...
But it has time limit of just 20 minutes, that's why you have to be fast and the most important thing is you have to follow the instructions very carerfully.
Giood luck

hi again,
thx for your answer. Can you maybe be more specific? i1ve bett to an inteview whit Etihad two years ago, and the test i did then was so difficullt. it included geography, maths, currency, iq- and basic english. we had about fourty minutes to make it so thats why i asked about how their test is today. if and how they´ve changed it!
thx again Bizzy
