Clay111 I was at the last Auckland Assessment Day and they told us GS confirmed for end of Feb.
I have completed the online testing and now waiting. Comprehension test went well. Has anyone heard back yet? Has anyone heard of people failing the online test? Dont want to stress but cant help it

Which date did you had your interview
Normally you'll hear after 48 hrs.Youll be fine

Official offer for BNE ground school January 24th
I'm so excited 😊 I finally got the call!!!!! Contract and welcome pack are going to be emailed. But it's an official offer for a position with Virgin. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Ground School starts January 24th. Can't wait. Now to draft a resignation letter for my current employer.

Hi everyone! I have just received an email saying I've been successful in getting through to the online assessment. I am wondering if anybody can give any insight into the online assessment!? From my school days I remember being quite hopeless at comprehension so I'm quite worried. Is it difficult? Thanks in advance.

Hi Flighty111 - yes that is a confirmed start date for training, conditional on passing the medical . I think I applied in April last year and have been in the talent pool since September/October.

Don't grt too worried if you haven't heard from them. I am positive you will hear soon because we're moving into a new year and that's generally where mass recruitment occurs. So at least you're not on hold in the middle of the year
In the meantime I've done so much shopping overseas and literally need another suitcase (#noregrets). Wondering if we have to buy our own for the job so I can buy an appropriate suitcase suitable for the job and kill two birds with one stone. Hmmm...

The recruitment department are off until after new year. That's what they told me anyway.
With the suitcase, they have guidelines. This is what the look book says. Should be 'wheelie' style preferably hardcase e.g. Samsonite. No greater than 70 cm in height, black silver or grey in colour,

BNE Ground School
So after the phone call on Monday, I finally got my contract and heaps of other paperwork to scan and send back to payroll.
I also got a look book with guidelines for everything from stocking, make up, hair uniform, jewellery, the list goes on. It's very thorough.
I've got a bit of light reading for the Christmas break too. The pre course booklet. 😬😱
I'm still sooo excited and counting down until January 24th when school starts. Same day as the kids. Lol 😂

I recieved a call from Virgin regarding AKL ground school start date this afternoon. It is Feb 27th! I have been in the talent pool since September 2016
