From what I remember they will send you an invitation for an assessment day after you have submitted your elevator pitch. This is obviously subject to them having assessment days scheduled for your base. From memory I had to wait about 2/3 weeks for an assessment day to be scheduled hope that helps. Good luck!

Congratulations on Graduating Pattycloud that is fabulous news. How was the training.

I have finally heard and have now progrssed thorugh to the swimming assessment stage which i have now completed and now waiting to hear if i get through to the Medical. Such a long process but sure it will be worth it.

Hi guys, I'm new to this chat. If I apply for an international short-haul service MEL, I have 3 questions. 1. When is the next training? 2. What kind of aircraft I will be trained? And 3. Does anyone have a cabin crew manual to start reading?

I was at the Melbourne assessment day on the 8th too. Congrats on getting through to the next stage! I haven't heard anything yet and just checked my application online and nothing has changed either. Not sure if it's a good or bad sign but hate playing this waiting game already! Just gotta be patient and hope for the best I guess!

Hi Hayley, where were you sitting Wednesday? Fingers crossed you hear something soon. Everyone going through this process seems to be on their own timeframe so I wouldn't worry!

I applied for VA AKL base yesterday afternoon, submitted my Vid today at 6.30PM and got an email 45mins later asking me to come to a recruitment day but no date as to when it could be, anyone else apply for AKL base and waiting for a date?
