Hey everybody.
Im a newbie on here. Ive been reading all your posts and what a rollercoaster for most of us. Well done to everyone.
I recived an email on the 23rd of march asking me to do my medical and to have all appointments made by the 24th of march. Eeekkk talk about panic attack lol however-I did manage to get it all done. Pheewwff. Hang in there guys you may receive a progress email any day. 😊 oh and my AD was in July, feels like a life time ago so keep positive !!!

17.6.16- video interview
22.6.16- hogan assessment
22.6.16- booking the AD
8.7.16- AD in sydney
11.7.16- progress to reff checks
25.7.16- xref successful and progress to security
23.9.16- security checks successful
23.3.17 progress to medical.

The suspense is killllin meee but i cant contain my excitement. Hopefully we hear more soon.

a bit of help needed
I've got a new passport, so was trying to log in on the website to update the information. I've found out that career website changed a bit and didn't allow me to log in.
How should I deal with this? Before I contact though an email, I love to ask you guys first :-)

Hey welcome , so have you received an email saying that they will send out asic email link within the next 5 days like I did ? Or did you actually receive the link to upload documents already ?
I think you need to upload the copy of the passport that was certified by the CSM on your Assessment day .

Here's just a little timeline of the progress of my application just so you all have a little background on me
9 May 2016 - Applied for position (SYD base)
17 June 2016 - Invited to do video interview
18 Aug 2016 - Invitation to AD
30 Aug 2016 - AD
31 Aug 2016 - XRef completed
25 Oct 2016 - 20 Feb 2017 - Emails regarding active hold
27 Mar 2017 - Received a call to inform me I was going to receive and ID link shortly
30 Mar 2017 - Email regarding background and security check
Has anyone else been informed of the background and security check? And if so have you received the links yet?
I'm so excited to be finally progressing further again I keep checking my emails every 10 minutes (I sound crazy I know lol). It's been such a long process and I can't wait to hear the final result.
Good luck to everyone else that's waiting to hear something!

It has, I'm so happy I've found it! It's so good I'm able to interact with people that are going through the same process. Not many people understand what it's like haha.
My heart stopped when they called! I wasn't given a lot of information - I was just asked for my D.O.B. to update my personal information so she can send me an ID link. However it's still very, very exciting to be progressing again. I guess I'm just growing a bit impatient through all the excitement lol.
I will keep you all updated if I hear anything further though!! 😊

Hi welcome , did you actually get a phone call from them ? Are you speaking mandarin or Cantonese just out of curiosity . I know quite a few of us who got asic email and still waiting for the asic link ( recommended in 5 business days ) . Did they mention that they will send you medical email straight after or any of future ground school start dates ? Good luck with everything
I don't speak Cantonese or Mandarin - the only other foreign language I kind of know is Italian (I can understand more than I can speak) but I didn't put that down as a known language as I need to study it more.
I'm still waiting on the asic email, I will let you all know whatever information I receive including whenever I receive the email (can't stop checking my inbox haha).

It is exciting time so I know how you feel, I cannot help but checking the inbox every so often. i received the asics email last night and just had a question about the photo we need to upload..
does anyone know if its the same as a passport photo? ie no smiling?
just not sure whether to go to the post office and get it done professionally..
