Hi!!!
My training was entirely in Brisbane - Emergency Procedures and Service. The entire initial training (including my first famil flight to Singapore) was seven weeks. Keep focused and study regularly....you'll be fine.

Hi CC123.. Did you get an email for video interview today? I did mine last week (I'm internal applicant) but I have friends applying as external so wondering if the vid interviews have started coming out today?

Hi croissant2016, I see your an internal applicant, if its ok me asking are you currently flying? Or are you on the ground or in HQ?

I stopped flying regionally last year with Qlink Syd base, and am now looking to return hopefully if I get an interview for QCCA :-)

I'm following this to see how the timeframe goes for both internal and external applicants though because I have a few friends applying as external and I'm getting the vibe that they must be recruiting the two lots seperately, I've done my vid interview whereas my friend hasn't heard anything back since initial application. Is anyone external that's heard anything?

Well that must be positive because neither have they and surely out of five of you (that I know) at least one would make it to next stage at least!!

I know from multiple sources they are hoping to get together ground schools of simmilar experienced people.. Ex flyers etc. makes sense in terms of teaching could def speed some things up if they are intending on doing a massive recruitment of lots of people. It's more efficient.
I'll keep checking here to see if anything happens. I was kind of hoping to hear something tonight considering all their stuff so far has been late Friday night

Got the golden phone call yesterday for July 25 ground school for Brisbane Base. It's been a long time waiting, but soon I will be doing what I have dreamt about for many years. Good luck to all those still waiting to hear about ground schools in Brisbane or Sydney.

I know how frustrating and long the wait can seem. Internal and external applications are all processed at the same time though and will be in the same ground school all together except if its a direct base transfer (they are usually all together for a shorter ground school). There will be people of all different levels of previous experience in every ground school. The reason it takes so long is because they have thousands of applications to process through each of the recruitment stages. They don't start making the mass golden calls until they have enough of the applications all at the final stage. And of course there needs to be a confirmed ground school in the base you've applied for. I'm an internal applicant and I'm also still waiting on the golden call for ground school. Hang in there, won't be much longer i don't think.
