Ofcourse! I felt exactly the same haha! Honestly though just try not to stress it will come around!
Even following on this forum for the ground school starting today 14 March it seems as though people were getting called around 2-3 weeks before so stay positive and keep checking your emails

Oh nice to know someone else who will be starting on the same date Very exciting!
Not yet.. I did just receive an email though saying " you may have received your new starter pack which details various docments....Tomorrow you will receive your official contract of employment"
I haven't had any starter pack email yet so I guess it will all come tomorrow? Did you get that email too?

Yes! so excited! I received the same emails. Just got my contract so i'm assuming you've received yours too? I was becoming a tad concerned about the contract but realise that they must be super busy.

Awesome news! Congratulations 😀😀 looking forward to meeting you also! So many documents to organise haha! I have my visa appt on the 24th. Getting my 5cm picture taken tomorrow at Camera house if anyone is looking for a place that does it. Aus post said they couldn't do it 😔

Looking forward to meeting you both as well! I just had my visa appt today! bb99 which post office said they couldnt do it? I had mine done at the one in Balmain and they were fine?
Just sent off all the other paperwork today too

Hey, I've just been successful at the assessment day for QFlink and have moved onto reference checks, shouldn't be an issue. Next step after that is medical. Kind of nervous, does anyone know what to expect? I was briefly put onto anti-depressants (don't use them anymore), will that being on my medical history hinder my application? Also I have a tattoo on my wrist. I'm a male so wore a suit and tie to the assessment day, and will wear a long sleeve shirt if I'm offered a job, but will the doctor note my tattoo on the medical assessment?! Quite happy to have it removed haha.

hey ozflyer01 was your assessment day Brissy base? i have only received an email saying thanks for applying but not an actual assessment day invite. i applied on the 10th of March 2016. I must of missed out on an invite. 
Also when i did a medical with Virgin They just tested my hearing , eyes, back ect and general body mass.. i was asked if i was taking any meds at the time too.

Congrats on getting through to reference checks! I think if it's outside of a month it should be okay not to write it down. They are only concerned with medication taken within the last month. Also, I don't think the doc will note it down - you go to the medical place & the nurse assesses you for eye sight, colour, hearing etc but nothing other than that. If you feel comfortable wear a long sleeve shirt to the medical

I applied for the BNE base too! What part of the recruitment process are you up to? I completed my medicals last and and I'm not waiting for ASIC clearance, but I vaguely remember being told at AD that ground school was on the 28th of this month?!

It's fun but VERY stressful. There are two parts to training - service and emergency procedures. EPs was the stressful part. You'll need to take a lot of notes and study each night. No body in my class failed but a few had to resit exams they didn't pass. The pass mark is 80%. Graduation felt so good!! 😀😀

2 ground schools started last week. 1 for SYD and 1 for MEL. I think they are the last for this round of recruitment. Don't worry there will be plenty more recruitment starting again soon. I would think after EBA negotiations in June at a guess. If you've successfully got to medical you'll be fine, hang in there
