Hey guys,
Congrats to everyone that has received their golden calls!
I received my medical email on Thursday and doing it this coming Monday (for QCCA SYD). They advised in the email there are spots for a SYD ground school for mid-March. Just wondering how long the gap was between doing the medical and getting a call from QF?

Thats awesome you have been put through to your pre employment medical😀😀😀 I cant help but ask but was your application put on Active Hold also?
I have heard talk of ground schools taking place in April and Im hoping along with many others who have been put on hold we get that golden email.

Yeah my application was placed on active hold and then received the medical email last Thursday and they said there are some spots available for the mid-March! So fingers crossed the medical etc is processed quickly!

How long did it all take from when your medical was sent to when they called you? It's been nearly a week for me and hoping to be in March 14th class!

I did my medical last monday and got the phone call on friday afternoon but my blood test came back fine so i didnt have to get any vaccinations did you?

Not in ur class but i will still b here with only 2 weeks till i finish. Im about 3.5 weeks in. Bring about 4 a4 note books and a few pens. Im on my 3rd pen due to them running out due to so much writting. Bring a lunch box, lots of pantyhose,hairnets for over ur buns,etc. It will b a month b4 u get to wear the uniform.

Thank you I did get put on hold in early feb and then received an email late feb saying they were progressing my application and I had to do my medical.
I attended the 7 dec assesment day. What base are you applying for?
I know its hard but try not to stress I'm sure they are just working through all the applications.. It seems like they are organising alot of training dates also

I think my interview was in Syd on 7th of December. Elle is right, they're recruiting in large numbers. They wouldn't have had you apply for security check etc if they weren't going to hire you. There is a ground school starting April 11 & I am quite sure there are a few more. Be prepared to have minimal notice if they message you. They did the same to me as what they did to Elle. It was like "you're on active hold" then all of a sudden it was like "you need to do your medical asap" so don't worry
everything will be fine.

Yeah Syd base 😀 Actually I went on the 7th of December that rings a bell haha! I don't know why I said the 10th.
Yeah you're so right tho, they must be super busy too. It's just you know when you're one step away from your dream but it's not quite there yet haha!
Hopefully they still do medicals for the April 11 GS that would be amazing!! 😀
