I still find this utterly bizarre. Based on discussion here and amongst my peers - no one has had a reply re the questionnaire. I’m wondering based on the fact it was an insight questionnaire with no right or wrong answers why I get the “thank you but your application is not progressing ” email. I’m just thinking as I had to submit it twice due to the link feeezing and was sent an email saying we’ve saved your application to complete it later that maybe there was a double up and the saved link I did not complete as I believed the message I got after the link unfroze said Thank you for your feedback - done. My application status says complete though now ... I think the system has glitched and I didn’t get through due to the “!incomplete application “ even though I did submit one.

Hi, I had basically the same thing happen.
My questionnaire was saved and then I clicked back in to submit it and it just said thank you for your feedback. I feel like it didn't submit properly.
I'm not sure what to do.

Hey citizen of the world.
When you reopened the link from your personal email saying your information was saved it should of opened and continued on with your last question done. I also didn’t receive an email saying that the questionnaires was completed but a simple thank you after clicking submit.
so I again saved it and opened again from my personal email then taking me through the questions I completed and clicked submit. I hope this helped you with any direction on the status of your application.

Hey Everyone!
I have applied for Melbourne base! Does anyone know how long you have to wait to be told about the AD after the job advertisement has closed? I have also completed my questionnaire. I previously have flowen for Qantas ( 8 years ago), I am 163.5cm tall and for those who are worried about the height requirement too, I flew with crew who were shorter than me and they just needed to pass the reach test and were okay

Nothing really, hence my surprise at not making it through to the next round. I wonder as it’s read by PredictiveHire software I didn’t use the right buzz words... the only other thing is , I’m 45 however I would be highly surprised if Qantas was age discriminative!
I can only assume trigger words are very important in making your application stand out to the recruitment team but each new intake there seems to be no decisive answer as to what the recruiters are looking for specifically. All I can say to any of you who do receive a rejection e-mail is not to take it personally. It doesn’t mean your previous experience doesn’t count and wouldn’t be an asset to Qantas, it just means this wasn’t your time for whatever the reason is. I have flown with numerous crew who applied up to 5 times before they were successful. Any and all of you with a passion for flying and for representing our national airline would all make excellent crew members. If you’re not successful this time around, get up brush yourself off and get ready to apply the next time. It will happen

May ground school in Sydney
Received a call this morning for a possible ground school in Sydney beginning of May.
Apparently they're still trying to get enough people confirmed. I'm Melbourne base and for anyone that's been waiting, I've been in the talent pool for a very, very long time. I'm also in my late 40's so they're definitely not agist.
Someone asked about the Auscheck and ACIC processing timeframes, mine took just under 4 weeks.
Good luck to all going through the process, it can be a tough agonising wait but having been crew in the past, it's worth it once you get through.
