But I do not understand how you got your GC without having sent all the required documents? The passport copy is one of them. I thought it was taking a bit longer for me to get any kind of news from them because I sent my passport copy 10 days after my FI (I had to get a new one) but obviously it doesnt matter to have the file complete or not. I thought they were very strict about it. Very surprised and really dont know what to think anymore. It's been 3 weeks today since my FI. My status is still applied. Didnt get no grooming email, I dont even know if they know about me!
At least after 3 weeks I would expect my status to be "under review". Just that. A mark that they know about me. Very frustrating.

Thank you but I really thought we didn't have to wait 6 months after an od as it is just the drop off cv...
I know in some countries there's both OD & AD the same day but it wasn't the case in mine.
I sent them a mail, hopefully they'll answer fast!

Dress code for joining flight
Smart Casual ... what does that mean ? not trashy not beach day casual, or after party drunken mess 
. i wore jeans clean shoes and polo shirt, how ever I was flying from New York, 14 hours later landing on a Friday morning (week end here), so met rep at the airport and went directly to my accomodation !

About this topic, I found a very useful blog when searching for "smart casual" and it said the following:
I think the jeans depend on the kind of fabric, colour and whether it is paired with other smart clothes (in the second picture the pants look almost like jeans) Keep in mind that you never know when you could be upgraded to bussiness, and in that case it's better to be prepared and well-dressed!

Hi all, I have attended The open day in Florence, italy, and made it until the FI which is tomorrow!!! I dont have much work experience so I'm a little worried. we were 113 ad the OD and we are 13 for the FI. Omg so nervous!!! and also, the only file missing from my paper is the Passport, and I am so scared because I live in italy and have to go to romania to make it,and i dont know if this is possible right away...anyone knows if they dont make exception to accept the passport copy after their answer? anyway will ask tomorrow. I will come up with all the details about how it went but now I need to rest, keep me fingers crossed!

My status changed to "You will be contacted by your Recruitment coordinator at the earliest" last night!
I know I found it helpful when people posted the breakdown of dates! It put my mind at ease...slightly! So...
OD - May 19th
FI - June 13th
"Approval in Progress" - June 20th
Grooming Email - June 27th
"Recruiter will contact you" - 11th July
Now to wait for the call!!!

Jeans is fine for joining flight, as long as shoes are clean and shirt is nice !
On a general rule (real rule) when flying on staff ticket jeans are not allowed.
Nad al shiba is a new area and is opposite global village which you can findd on google map.

i applied crew and got an invite to Dubai, yet i am not in Dubai.my status changed from under review to invited not attended.has any one been through the same and later got an invite in their local areas to attend the interview?
