Hi,
I was at the Melbourne OD as well and just got my AIP status change and tattoo form. Hoping this is good news. Have you ever heard of anyone getting rejected after the AIP status change?
Good luck!

@Ralukaa:
Congratulations for your status change. I dont think they would ask someone to remove their teeth jewelery and then reject them, that would be simply cruel. And rejection mails I think are sent faster, when I got mine it had been barely two weeks after my FI, and others from my recruitment got it by the same time, cause making someone wait for severa weeks to get a no would be very cruel too, though it sometimes happen, but HR I think they try to send those responses faster.
Having said that, I also know about 4 guys who got their call after almost 4 months of excrusiating wait, but it was worthive cause at the end they got theyr yes. Some of them had even moved on and forgotten about the whole Emirates thing. And i have read here in the forum about people who has waited even longer.
And theres is also some very lucky people, like a girl I met who got her Golden Call barely four days after her FI, and the Ad was very far from Dubai.
Now Im waiting for my Gc again, after more than a year of having received that terrible email, lets hope this is my lucky chance!

Hello FlyLoutati,
The Medical status should remain in progress until it is approved. It could take a while. For example I have waited almost 2 weeks for the final approval of the medical forms. Just like at any other stage of the whole process patience is a must!

Open day for EK in Europe
Hi all,
I was wondering how the open day works? Can anyone just show up after applying for a job online? Or is that not necessary? Has anyone heard anything about an open day in England, Denmark, Iceland, France or Germany soon? Or anywhere in Europe that is?
Thank you!!!

salary deduction
Hey guys, just recently received my golden call and I am super excited! was just looking through the contract, and was wondering if someone would be able to clarify something for me.I understand they deduct a small amount of your pay (salary deduction) each month for the first year to pay for any outstanding bills should you leave within the first 3 years.Does this mean that by theory if you left before the 3 years were up you dont see this money again?(not that i plan too) or do u get part of it or what?
thanks in advance!

I'm so happy for everyone getting their GC's! So exciting!
I can't wait to apply! I'm 19 so I still have 2 years of waiting...
...and watching everyone on here getting their dreams(...and mine!)
I start flying domestically next month...hopefully 2 years of experience will help my application for Emirates when the time comes!
