Lili - I didn't contact anyone, Sigma contacted me. I wasn't even thinking about VIP aviation work. You can probably find their details on the usual jobsites.

The contract is 3 months on, 1 month off. You would live in a villa shared with another flight attendant, based on a compound in Riyadh. I've spoken to a girl I know that is currently working on a private jet in Saudi & she has said NAS are a decent outift to work for, as a someone she knows used to work for them.

Pink - thank you, I'll let you know how I get on. I'm not too bothered about having to make my own way to Bahrain if I'm selected for interview, I plan on using my current crew discount tickets

NetJets Corporate flight attendant Interview - Melbourne - is it a scam ?

Hello ,

I have been offered an interview in Melbourne on Sunday May23rd at 6pm for a Corporate Flight attendant position with Netjet and it seems like it could be a scam ... Time of the interview a bit awkard , 6pm , and no phone number is provided. Is NetJet really opening a base in Melbourne? If anybody could shed some light on this that would be great.

Cheers

I don't know if it's a scam, but I suppose there is no harm attending, make sure there are other people there or else don't stay as usually first interviews are group ones.

Also don't hand over any money if they request it

NetJets Corporate Flight Attendant Interview - Melbourne

Hello,

I received an email invite to a NetJets interview at Ciloms Airport Lodge for tomorrow (Saturday) 2pm-4pm. It's a bit strange we have been invited to go at different times on a weekend too and your times are in the evening.

The email did leave a mobile contact number for 'the co-ordinator' to advise of attendance as well as a number at Ciloms. Haven't called yet since I checked my email after business hours.

Is it worth going to? Is anyone else going?

*************

Okay, thought I'd let you all know that I confirmed with NetJets that the advertisement on Seek is not legitimate. Someone has falsely used their name so don't bother going to the interviews.

Lucky I saw your posts or it'll be a complete waste of time.
Thanks for the alert!

I just received an email from Netjet "talent aquisition". They are NOT recruiting at the moment.

I have sent two emails (questioning things) to SASS and they haven't responded to either.

What a shame this is a big fat SCAM. At least Pprune was able to bring us together to nut it out.

Netjets job offer is a complete scam! Be careful girls, you might end up in a trap!
1/ The job is supposed to be based in Australia and yet the description evokes the US FAA.
2/ always beware of sending your details to a gmail/hotmail address
3/ The job ad is a mere copy & paste advert from a genuine job offer from MYLAN : Mylan Careers: Posting Detail

Watch out!

Snoop Amiri Qatar

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the aircraft industry, but have been a Stewardess on private yachts for 12 years. More recently, I started flying in my owner's BD Global Express. In yachting, we're known to work up to 15 hour days for up to 3 months in a row (no days off). So I assume that this will be easier in comparison!

I am interested in Amiri, but am confused about a few things which I am rather hoping someone will be kind enough to assist me with! My application is being processed.

- Are there two types of Amiri Qatar operations? '
- How do the Abi Dhabi and Doha operations differ?
- Can I get a salary scale? Is it based on experience?
- Has anyone else applied for the Cabin Crew positions on the Amiri website which indicates a start date of 1st June 2010?

IMPORTANTLY:

- Can anyone give some SOLID information about the salary/conditions?
- Interview process

I would so greatly appreciate any information. In exchange, I'd be happy to offer information about how to get into the yachting industry.

NAS Interview..

Hey guys,

Just a quick update... I've been invited to interview for NAS. It would be a 2 day interview process later this month, taking place in BAH. I'm gutted as i cannot attend on the dates offered. If it were any other dates i would jump at the chance, but i have prior arrangements on the dates provided & i simply can't get out of them. I doubt any other dates will be offered so this is probaby the end of the road for me this time with NAS. If anyone attends the interview please let me know how it goes.

Corporate Aviation Training?

Hi All

I hope my first ever post on this board is in the right place! I worked for a commercial airline as cabin crew for a very brief 9 month contract and turned down their offer of a perma contract. Shortly after I got a job on a private jet for a Saudi sheik - it was pretty groovy but short lived ( about 1 month).
I pursued other avenues after that brief interlude but am v interested in getting back into it.

Have any of you ever taken part in a corporate aviation training? I did a quick google search and it seems several so called schools offer this in the US.

Do you think this would be a good idea before I start trying to get back into world of private trolly dollys? I am more than aware how different the world is since I last worked. 9/11 - and the economic downturn etc and Im now in my late 30s.

Any input would be great.

TF

Smile Qatar Amiri Interview

Hi everyone!

Im very excited about having an interview at the end of the month, and trying to prepare myself as much as possible. i have searched the internet and all of these forums but i can't seem to find any info on what the actual interview would be like and include.

if anyone has any information on what to expect, questions asked, skills they will check etc. i will be sooooo grateful.

the recession has taken its toll and i would really like to be as prepared as possible in order to give this interview my very best shot. jobs are scarce.

Thank you in advance for anyone who is willing to take the time to help me. I would truly appreciate it.

Kind regards
